Very disappointed to see that Cobs Bread is allowing people without masks to enter their store. Only 50% of people are fully vaccinated, the customer space is very small (customers are not six feet apart) and the protective barriers between customers and staff are poorly designed. As a private business, management needs to do more to protect both their staff and their customers. Like many other stores, keep the mandatory mask mandate in place until at least September when most customers will be fully vaccinated. This is the least you could do for all of your customers who are immune compromised or face other medical challenges.

I came in with an e-gift card but the staff were unable to figure out how to use it and gave up, and just said were weren't trained how to do this". The hot cross buns were good though.Edit: I emailed their customer service and they sent me a physical card for the same amount."

Traditional Hot X Buns...yumm!!! For the first two weeks of availability, the buns were larger. Now they're smaller for the same price.

No. Less than half of what it used to be. For $2.75 you'd expect a good croissant. I didn't come to buy a hockey puck.

I just received excellent customer service at the COBS Bread on Shelbourne Street in Victoria! The man who helped me (in his twenties with longer black hair) brightened my day! With staffing shortages everywhere and often-exhausted staff, customer service of this calibre is hard to find!

I noticed that the 2 loaves of bread I purchased were very hard at the time I picked them up and when I went to use them they were obviously stale. I called the store to tell them and I just got told that I must have ripped the bags or something after I left because they would not have been stale when I got them. So beware when you buy from this particular Cobs and check your products before you leave the store.

I've only started buying bread at Cobs in the last year and I do find it to be a fairly affordable and consistent bakery. As a chain, some people may turn up their noses but their baguettes and buns are great and seem fresh. Their cinnamon buns are also pretty popular with my family.
