Donna has been wonderful and shows such love towards her pups. We continue to take our PWD Sherman for regular grooming and boarding too. It has been such a wonderful experience from beginning to end and beyond. We are now looking forward to another puppy from Donna very soon!

I contacted Donna after doing some research on breeds that would suit my family. After our initial meeting, I knew she’d take care of us. She picked for us a puppy who fits our personalities perfectly, and is the perfect addition to our family. Donna is a super breeder. I have one of her puppies, my Claircreek Swimming in Capri. This kennel is home of winners in dog shows and not only this. Claircreek dogs are healthy and with a great temperament; Donna takes care of all of her puppies, also of which of them live so far, like mine. She always supports us for health and shows. I’m happy to be a part of this team!

If you are serious about investing in an incredibly special breed of dog then Donna is the breeder to go with.We met with Donna and 4 of her young dogs last fall and we were instantly impressed with how calm and sweet her dogs were. From the first meeting to after taking our puppy home, Donna was a constant source of assurance and information. She always made time to take my calls and answer my questions (and I had many, many questions!), to provide training tips and how to manage our new puppy. Donna gets you off to a great start and sets you up with a puppy manual, recommendations for puppy classes, grooming kits and more. Even after we brought our puppy home, Donna continued to check in with the families to see how our puppies were doing. She is genuinely interested in our family and our puppy.The puppy that Donna picked for us is super smart and clever and is a perfect fit for our family. She’s up for anything, even if it means a quiet day indoors due to rain.Donna breeds world-class PWDs and is a true professional that loves her dogs and she sets you up to succeed with your puppy. There should be more stars!! I cannot recommend Donna and Claircreek enough. Our Sofia aka Purple is absolutely perfect. Smarter than us as we all live aboard our sailboat. In puppy class an exercise was introduced recommending 100 times for the pup to learn. How about 10 for our PWD. Donna has always been available to give advice and information about how to welcome our pup to her forever home. Our Sofia was obviously loved and had received quality training before she came to us.

Dealing with Donna at Claircreek has been amazing. River is our second Portie. He is beautiful, intelligent and full of personality. Donna and the Claircreek crew are now family, as that is how she makes you feel. She is always available for handing out advice....she truly cares about her pups. You can tell that her PWDS are cared for with expertise. I highly recommend!

Bridie has just turned 1 and this girl is absolutely fabulous! Not only does she have a most wonderful personality that allows her to be with other dogs and people, she is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She has an innate sense of timing… a strong biological clock for routines. She is so loved and I highly recommend Claircreek Portuguese Water Dogs.

Donna was very helpful throughout the whole adoption process and still keeps in contact to help us out. From the initial communication we were pleased by Donna's personal touch and interest in the type of lifestyle that her puppy will have with us. I was in search of a PWD for a while and Claircreek came really well recommended. After a quick discussion online with Donna to tell her what we were looking for, we had scheduled to meet to determine if a PWD was right for my wife and I and if we were right for a PWD.We had let Donna know that we did not have any prior experience with PWDs in the past so we were really trying to determine if a PWD was right for us. Donna gave us a lot of insights into PWDs and what living with one is like. We were then introduced to Wellington and I am pretty sure my wife and I were set on a PWD after meeting him. He is absolutely adorable and is alone worth the trip out to Claircreek for the chance to see him.We were also really lucky to be able to meet 3 puppies that Donna had at the time. Prior to seeing these puppies, I was a not quite as interested in the lion clip, but seeing these 3 puppies with the lion clip made me a fan and I can't imagine my PWD getting any other cut now. We were given a good amount of time to interact with the puppies and I'm pretty sure if Donna was looking to part with one of them that day, we would have accepted (I still really like Valentina and think she was such a perfect pup).Needless to say, my wife and I were happy to get on the wait-list after a quick discussion with each other and we were quite excited to know that Donna was expecting puppies in about a month and that we would likely only have to wait 3 more months until we could bring a puppy home.The 3 months wait was excruciating. Once we had committed to a PWD from Claircreek, it was all my wife and I could talk about. We were really thankful for the updates that Donna shared all along the way. The pictures and videos of the pups and Lucia (their mother) was greatly appreciated and was always the highlight of our day when we got them.A few weeks before the puppies were ready to be taken home, Donna scheduled a date for everyone who was looking to get a puppy in this litter to come and spend time with each puppy. This was a great experience where we got to meet the whole litter and for Donna to give everyone a few more tips and allowed for a lengthy and in-depth Q&A session.All throughout this process, Donna was sending everyone a lot of material to help us get prepared for the puppy. She was very helpful and responsive to any questions that came up during this period and also scheduled one-on-one time with us when we came to pickup our puppy to go over a few key things to help us get through those first few days/weeks/months.Donna really does work hard to ensure that everyone that comes to bring one of her puppies home is setup for success. I was really glad to see the amount of effort and care Donna put in, as she truly cares for her dogs and for every single one of her puppies. She really is a pack leader and I'm sure that the dogs of claircreek heavily benefit from this.Once we brought our puppy home, Donna was still very much involved. She continued to stay in contact and give us plenty of advice regarding specific questions we had in the first few days with our puppy. It was reassuring to know that Donna was a simple phone call or email away to help.She really knows the breed and everything she told us about what to expect during the initial stages of our puppy is quite spot on. We've had our PWD for 3 months now and everything Donna told us about how PWDs behave and what they will do is exactly our experience so far.We are very happy with our experience with Donna and can highly recommend Claircreek if a PWD is a consideration at all. I will definitely go back to Donna again once we are ready for another.

I don't know where to begin to explain how happy we are with Claircreek and Donna! From the moment I emailed Donna, her quick responses back, meeting her for the first time so we would get to know each other and meet her beautiful dogs, the information she gave us, keeping us updated during the time the pups were born and up until pick up, it was all absolutely flawless. We picked up our pup a month ago and he is an absolute beauty. So calm and cute. Donna's passion for what she does really shows in her puppies and her advice is one I will take to the grave. He follow up and keeping in touch with us during this time has been constant and amazing. Through this process, we not only got a pup of our dream, but found a friend through it all.
