Was great.Just a note that if you like spicy ask them to increase it. Their default spicy isn’t that spicy.(for me at least)

The place is quite, clean and nice. I reallllly like the side dishes, especially potato and kimchi. The pork back soup(Gamja tang)is good, but will be better if it adds more spicy. The portion for me, I had it for lunch, but I was not hungry at all at dinner time.

Very calm place when I came in on a Saturday at around 4pm. The seolleongtang was very rich and smelled great; it came with side dishes and a pop drink. The price was $22+tax for the dinner menu. Will definitely come back to taste the other items.

This is one of Ottawa’s hidden gems! We had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend In’s kitchen. The service was extremely professional and the chef came out to check that everyone was happy with their food. Everything we tried was delicious and fresh. Can’t wait to visit again!

Tonight, we ate at this excellent Korean restaurant. I took the soft tofu plate. It was very tender and flavourful. The people are very friendly and kind. I strongly recommended this excellent and enjoyable place. And I want to go back for sure!

The food here was very hearty, simple yet delicious. I honestly loved the service provided by everyone, they checked on us, made sure to give us every detail and helped us by providing us with seasonings for the soup. We tried Seleongtang and Bulgogi from the dinner menu. Everything on the dinner menu is priced at $22 and includes a drink - your regular pops and sparkling water. I wish, they provided hot tea or something instead but that I learned is extra, same with water - bottled only. But my only suggestion and tip for improvement would be the way they have fixed the lunch or dinner sets. I would love to order alacarte instead of having to compromise and pick just one set. They don’t have bibimbap for dinner either sadly. The sides were tasty, loved the wild rice but again I just hope I had a bit more flexibility for the amount that I paid. Don’t expect everything to be traditional, there are a few fusion dishes like the one with fries but again the taste was pretty good. They warned us that the Seleongtang would be very bland but with some salt and pepper, it was amazing and perfect for the cold weather - I recommend it. We went right before closing so they had a lot of open seats but I could see it filling up fast during peak hours. They do takeouts too.

Love this cute little spot so much!! So authentic it tastes just as good as the food in south korea. I love the open kitchen and the staff are so warm and welcoming with their kind smiles. I’ve had takeout and dine in - both are excellent. Food is comforting, well balanced, and just the perfect meal.

Had a very nice dinner with wife, ordered Yukgaejang & Soondubu (sorry if butchered spelling for it) soups as pictures.Wasn’t heavy, clean tasting soup. portioned slight bigger than i could finish but thats me problem!Staff was also quick and friendly. I’d definitely visit again and try different menu in the future

Great first experience at In's Kitchen. We've been wanting to try this place for a while! Just fair warning every dish is $22. But what you get for that price is an elevated presentation of Korean meals. These broths are very clean, the ingredients are good quality, but they do lack depth. If you want a dirty kimchi jiggae or a Gamjatang with a bite and fat, you won't find it here. But overall this place gets a great rating for being a high quality mom and pop shop.

Great food, service, environment and company. What more could you ask for you? I would recommend you try this place out and get items from the dinner menu (both dinner and lunch items are served at all times). Definitely in my top 5 restaurants in Ottawa and would recommend you to try it out too!
