Zen, the food here is mellow. Soft, rich and brings out the best flavours from each ingredient. Interiors are artistic with Persian arts and paintings.The servers were very polite in explaining the menu, cosy ambience with bright lights from outside

Good flavours but definitely not enough of them. Every single dish we ordered seemed to be very mild and mellow when it came to spices. There was barely any taste. The dill and broad bean infused basmati rice tasted like plain white rice even though it clearly wasn't. The lamb shank was good. Fell right off the bone and was a hearty chunk of meat, but it lacked much kick to the flavours. What I really liked was the side of lamb broth that came on the plate, it went great with the plain tasting rice. Everything else was pretty mediocre.

As others mentioned, flavours are very subtle but good. Takeout was well packaged and presented.I ordered the lamb tacos which I loved (tasty, with great pickled flavours to complement the meat), and eggplant dip Kashkeh Bademjoon (was OK, was less flavourful and more of a gritty/paste texture than I was expecting) with flat bread (which was a good portion, soft, warm and tasty). Overall satisfied, but I’d try a different side for the tacos next time.

I've been here a few times already... Indoors the atmosphere is pleasant. Looks clean and fresh. I'd had chicken tachin and lamb shank with baghali polo both dishes were very tasty and plentiful. Lately, we've opted for takeout: kabob -koobideh and joojeh. We found it a bit dry. My kids standard for kabob is the one grandpa makes and the call it juicy kabob. Having said this, I think it is worth a try since it is a local business.

The rice was a bit burnt but tasty. They also gave us a lot of dip for the appetizer for the amount of bread but it was good with the mains. The mocktail was good too.

The food was so tasty! It was like buffet of flavours! We ordered bread ($3) and Tash (pomegranate and wallnut sauce) ($2.50) to share. The bread was warm and nice and enough for the 4 of us to share. I absolutely loved the sauce which is more like a spread!We ordered Kubideh with Baghali Polo, Sultani with Baghali Polo and Sultani with Barbari bread and one order of vegetariab kotlet.All the food was amazing!!! The beef was so juicy and tender!We also ordered pomegranate mojito but were not impressed by it.Service was fast and our server had a smile all the time on her face. I wish we had sat outside to enjoy the patio but we had walked a bit and were tired of the heat! I strongly recommend this place and can't wait to get back to try other items

First time visit. Nice cozy place to have a meal. Feels kind if like a family dinner. I had the cardamom lentil soup and a Joojeh kabab wrap.Flavors were very nice and the dish was well prepared.

Although I am giving it a five, there could be improvements but I understand this is a brand new restaurant. The concept is a little different, where you pay and tip before you eat. The syrup+mint drink was very good! The lamb tacos could use some more meat, had very little meat but they were very tasty. The beef kabobs had great meat and the nannaa fries were good. The chickpea cookie was smaller than a toonie and personally was not my taste, very powdery. The pistachio white chocolate cookie was fresh and yummy. Gorgeous decor, I could tell a lot of thought and love went into that place!

Came in today to buy a khoobideh the girl at the front, didn’t even tell me it’s going to take 15 minutes she told me after I paid as I am rushed to get back to work and have limited time to buy food….On top of that they did not provide me any cutlery in the to go bag nor napkins, the girls then have the audacity to argue with me, that I didn’t ask for one.How am I spouse to eat, with my hands? Don’t argue with customers or assume I don’t need it, always provide it just incase. I am not a fan of the customer service at all.Food is basic, not enough rice… tomato was burnt too much. Do better! At this price point I expect more.

I'm extremely shocked and I never thought of reviewing this issue anywhere in Canada. I'm wondering how this restaurant has passed the inspection agency !!! Keeping and maintaining the restaurant clean inside and out is critical for customers to feel secure and happy with what they are eating!Sadly this restaurant in front has a nice atmosphere and an excellent modern Persian vibe.Once you decide to go washroom is where the disaster starts from the greasy kitchen to employee doors to black stains or muddy stairs the washroom was......!!!!Sadly I lost my appetite! I rush to eat, small bites and decide to go. I couldn't pass it!But to be fair, I have to review what I taste. I had Zaytoon and eggplant walnut as starters were amazing, and kubaidah for the main. I felt the same taste and the same level of Shayhoon Persian restaurant in Burlington ( same owner) even better in taste and serving time.The staff were very nice and helpful.The food quality and presentation were excellent. I hope this review will gain their attention to maintaining cleaning!
