I always order malatang here late at night. The advantages of this place are delicious malatang and the most delicious tangsuyuk(sweet&sour pork) in Vancouver. I recommend malatang, but sweet and sour pork is super good, trust me! But this store has a big drawback: it takes a really long time to make food and often forget the ingredients and food. I think there is not enough manpower because this restaurant is open even at dawn. I think the overall quality will improve a lot if the shortage of people is covered.

Very authentic Korean Chinese food! Staff was friendly and kept giving us the yellow radish! Hey the half and half bowls for the best of both worlds!Update sep 2019: this is the first time I’m back at the restaurant after remodelling! The renovations look modern and sleek, service was great and food was great as usual! One thing I have to point out is that seating is pretty peculiar and I think more seats could be freed up with better planning. For example, it is odd to have a customer table right beside the entrance, and the space between the bar area and the seats behind it is very tight, making it hard to travel to the bathroom.

A place I found because I missed Korean jjajangmyeon.. The conclusion was successful.. Delicious food and friendly service.... The only regret I found was that the restaurant was a bit narrow.

They lie about their opening hours! They don’t really do business 24 hours. Got here around 2am on 3/5 and tried to get some late night sapper. Saw the sign saying “I am at the washroom and please call if you are hungry”. We called and a guy came out telling us the food was not prepared. It would take a really long long time if we decided to order with a very reluctant tone. We left without even bothering. Be aware of this place if you wanna get food.

Authentic and freaking delicious! The flavours are appropriately rich and I savoured every bite. They seem to be most popular for their fried pork with sweet and sour sauce (aurgh I have yet to learn the Korean names!), and black bean sauce with pork on noodles dishes -the two I tried first. I love that they also have spice levels because I love spice. The second time I visited I had similar noodles, but pan fried version, and fried chicken with spicy garlic sauce. Casual setting, small restaurant, larger groups may have to wait, pairs can sit at the bar, service is friendly, and wait time for food is reasonable.
