The food was ok... The waitress was nice, but then we were ask to pay all 12 person in one bill or maximum two bills. We had a reservation for all 12 and it would have been really appreciated to be told that in advance. We ended up being forced to pay 18% of tip and even more. The atmosphere changed in a negative way. I do not recommended. There are definitely better options.

I absolutely love this place. It is the hidden gem I bring my friends and family to and they always love it. I've had a birthday dinner here for the past 8 years and they are always amazing hosts. The food is top-tier, proper Korean, and bursting with flavour.Please try this amazing spot and support local Edmonton business.- Alexander

Bulgogi House will transport you back in time and make you feel like you are in a different era....it's nostalgic for those that remember the Asian food restaurants in small towns in Alberta.Aside from that, I felt a bit disappointed in the portion to cost ratio. You don't get much for your buck here.The soup was half the size that I got from Hansik and Pocha Seoul for the same cost.The food was just ok, it was not amazing contrary to some of the reviews on here.I also asked if I can have a piece of lettuce for my toddler daughter and the owner/waitress said that it would be $6. For the $40 worth of food that I ordered, I didn't think it was an unreasonable ask for a piece of lettuce.

Starting with the good:1) staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.2) food tasted great!Now, things that were disappointing:1) I called in advance to check if they have the grill for bbq. They assure me they do but when i got there I realized they don’t. This was misleading.2) Food was super expensive for what it was. Portion size was definitely smaller than other koran restaurants I have been to.3) The place gives out a diner vibe. If you are willing to pay $$, i bet you can do a lot better in terms of the ambiance.

New owners for a few years , terrible food, not fresh and very , I mean very over priced. Could of went out for a fab steak dinner for half the price. New the old owner and food very fresh, tasty and well prepared. Do not recommend....very old, tasting food, dry, and came home and through up. Done with this place, to bad for old owners where great.

It's been 10 years since we have had the pleasure of eating here. Everything was amazing, the service is always wonderful and the food....well they serve the best in Edmonton. Thank you for never disappointing.

You absolutely cannot go from with their soups! They are packed full of veggies and meat and they taste delicious. So great for those cold days and I always have leftover for lunch the next day! They pack everything separate when you get take out so nothing gets soggy

It's been about 2 years since we've eaten at the Bulgogi House, and the food is just as tasty and delicious now as it was before. I called for take out and everything was ready at the promised time, and it was still hot even after returning home to Fort Saskatchewan. Yes, you read that right, the food is worth the 30-40 minute drive! We always order the same dishes as we've found our favourites since we first discovered this hidden gem over 30 years ago. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers in that the portions seem a little smaller, and the prices a little higher than the last time we ate there, but I'm willing to pay a premium for constantly delicious food. We won't let another 2 years go by again before returning to the Bulgogi House.
