Chestnut Tree Pre-School Inc (The)

Both my son and daughter have attended the Chestnut Tree and I cannot say enough good things about this location. The staff is attentive, nurturing and educated. They understood my personal needs and implemented them with no hesitation to the fullest extent. Communication with the staff was always pleasant and any questions or concerns I had were always met in a reasonable time frame. Great work staff!

Only bad things to say. I would not feel safe with my children at this daycare, and location. Weird apartment building with random people coming and going. Staff seem to be lazy, there is one teacher Katherine I think who is grumpy and doesn’t seem like she wants to be there. Very disappointed in the daycare.

If I have any questions through email they answer my questions in a very timely manner. My son comes home raving about his teachers & friends. He has a couple different teachers and when I ask them about his day they are very specific and it is clear they keep good tabs on all the different children! My son is always excited to go to preschool & sometimes even cries when he sees me arriving to pick him up! (Which is very bittersweet for me lol)

I had a very bad experience with the centre, the staffs and the director. I felt my family was not treated in a fair way. I have brought some concerns to the director to improve the facility and few weeks after I received a termination letter, stating due to my child's behaviour issues and not able to satisfy my requirements. My requirements were clean hygiene, the daily report to be filled so I know how was my child's day and what she ate (she was always very hungry when I go to pick her up), locking the main door otherwise anyone can go in any time. In the termination letter, they have made my child look like a monster the way they described her. If there was an issue they should have reported to me and communicated.When I go to pick her up, most of the time they have said she had a good day". Their management and communication is really bad. They need to make sure their clients are 100% satisfied."
