Bring your own bags. It’s not hard to do. I applaud Safeway for taking the initiative. To anyone who says “well the oil companies are damaging oceans so Safeway is going to save the world by not supplying plastic bags” ….. someone has to start. To think or not do anything to save the environment because someone else isn’t is deplorable and lazy thinking. One store starts and then another and another and then maybe other companies will start doing there part and maybe the government will finally get there heads out of their butts and do something other then charge a carbon tax.I hope Safeway doesn’t give in to the narrow minded people who actually complain that Safeway is doing their part because they’re to lazy to remember their own or to cheap to spend .30 cents for a reusable bag.

Very disappointed in Safeway this year. Usually u can count on great deals for Xmas. This year I was paying regular prices. Stopped at coop to pick up some juice and they have the deals this year

This store was as expected when it comes to Safeway. Very clean very organized . The Cashiers were very kind and efficient. Also as a truck driver myself it was Great that this store was I such an accessible location. Many businesses don't realize how big of a difference this an make for us on the road.Update Mar 12/23Still a great store. Clean and lots of selections. Unfortunately I cannot upgrade the review to 5 stars because Safeway in general is just more expensive than many other options. But on the road as a truck driver we don't have many options for accessibility as stated in my original review. So I will continue to stop here.

Prices are becoming unreasonably high. So sad to see the switch from Air Miles to Scene plus as benefits are hidden and difficult yo assess.

Great shopping atmosphere. Friendly staff. Easy to find a staff member willing to help outside their designated department.Now carrying local Saskatchewan grown produce, and Sask made Kombuchas.

Only grocery store in town that had all my baking ingredients for christmas baking. Plus there ARE real cashiers and more than enough of them on the tils to avoid long line ups. Bravo Safeway!!
