Dr. Farid Nikfar
I had a crown done with Dr. Nikfar. I voiced my concern that it didn't feel right, and my bite felt off. He told me to give it some time and I would get used to it. On several more visits I mentioned this crown, but my concern fell on deaf ears. I then decided to switch dentists. My crown has since fallen out, after only a few years. I should have gone with my gut and made him redo it.

I have had multiple fillings by Dr. Nikfar over the course of many years, all of which have been very painful procedures, filled with many post op issues such as my bite being off, nerve damage, and cracked fillings. These issues take forever to go away. I never had these kind of issues with my previous dentist, Dr. Nystrom. Many people I know have had the same issues.

Dr. Nikfar has done an extraction and four fillings for me since moving to Port Alberni.He is a gentle man of few words, very fast, very focused, really good sense with pain and comfort, and his workmanship is top notch. He is a master dentist.

Only see this guy if you want to be treated like you dont matter and spend a large fortune on not getting your teeth fixed super shotty work wont be going back

I had dental work done on my back molar. Dr Nikfar complained that I needed to open my mouth wider. I said that I'd opened as wide as I could. I guess it wasn't wide enough. So he shoved a wedge" in and I felt a "pop" that hurt (even with the freezing).That was over 6 months ago and I now have a constant earache. I also still have jaw pain
