We love visiting thrift and antique stores. Being able to browse in the hopes of finding something unique or that catches our eyes.. when driving along at 60km an hour spotting a sign for that says Antiques and “Open” ….well you think you’d be welcome to stop in..sign on the door said it was open, but also said to ring bell for service so we did. Upon the lady opening the door we were greeted with “I would’ve preferred you have a reason to stop in”… I should’ve taken not so subtle hint and left right away.. there were many items that did catch our eye and maybe they were a little overpriced but the attitude we got as soon as we walked in the door did not entice us to spend anymore time in there and certainly not to purchase.

Very friendly owners and a great variety of items (considering the store is not huge) - all in excellent condition. Was very happy with our visit and pleased with our finds. Will be back.

Had a short look around in this store today with my Friend. We both wore masks and sanitized our hands with our sanitizer as there was none at the door. The lady owner was quite short with us and wanted to know if we wanted something particular and not browsing. Kind of nuts if your store is open of course we are browsing. Never again.
