None of the character, creativity, or service of the former Morris East Pizza " original location remains. I went soon after the new ownership took over and to say it was disorganized would be too generous. The service was extremely slow and I only ordered drinks. The server was not acquainted with the menu specials and I was overcharged by a dollar for my Prosecco (a drink that it took at least three staff members to figure out what it even was). The pizzas are mad of excellent ingredients, but they seem off. The Margarita pizza had way too much tomato sauce on it and so little cheese that we could barely tell it was there. The vegetable pizza had all the right ingredients, but they skimped on the balsamic and the whole thing fell flat. The service was nice, but we never got a water refill or had our table visited after getting our food. We had to flag down someone else at the counter to pay. They did have the best pizza crust I have had in a long long time.

A fantastic date-night option, Morris East is a restaurant that my wife and I frequented (before we moved outside of the downtown core). The service was typically outstanding and we always felt like we were coming to a place where they genuinely cared about our experience. Morris East also makes for a great family eating experience too though with their kids menu and the staff were always great with our son. He loved going there too. Lots of great pizzas to choose from. I often struggled to decide on which one I wanted. My wife feels very strongly about the mushroom pizza and never ordered anything but. The salted caramel tart is amazing and we always got it, even though we routinely choose the chocolate dessert option when we go out to other places. We miss the vibe at the Morris St. location, but are glad we have the Bedford location, closer to where we now live.

We were visiting the city and wanted some lunch. This place has gluten free options for the pizza so my partners wanted to check it out.I really enjoyed the regular dough pizza , though the gluten free dough is nothing to rave about.However the toppings were excellent !

I went because it was featured on You Gotta Eat Here. It was okay. I didn't find the items they featured on the show except for the Wood fired S'mores which looked different from what they made on the show. The staff were friendly.

Great authentic wood fired pizza with sophisticated topping combinations & small collection of extremely tasty starters. Stylish but relaxed atmosphere that's great for dinner with friends.
