They do not do thier research on articles, and pretty much just copy castanet news, or post news regarding the USA which has nothing to do with Canada.Another useless news site.Do not follow this news site, they do not investigate anything Just a copy paste news site that anyone can make. I've stoped watching news altogether due to this.Funny how they do not respond to my review only the 5 star ones

KelownaNow does an excellent job of covering local events and news in our community. Which is why I continue to support them both personally and professionally. I would highly recommend visiting their website and following them on Facebook.

Consistently, the front page stories are US Political headliners and stories from across Canada not Kelowna Now. Articles are great but it appears the concept of the site is trying to hard to become a commercialized version of everything to everyone" rather than Kelowna Now! More intimate stories with local content would be better suited for a local community site."

They publish stats from polls" which are clearly fasle

Always a great source of local information, events and news, which is why we are confident that our advertising dollars are always being put to good use with KelownaNow. 10/10 would recommend.

LOVE the KelownaNow - love the up to date info, I get all my news from them. Love what they do for the Kelowna Community and how involved they are and love the people...everyone there is amazing and clearly enjoy what they do. Thanks Kelowna NOW for all you do and please keep up the good work!

This review is a couple months late, but I “won” a contest for the September 25th Peachland Farmers Market. I was super excited as this took place right before my birthday, so it was a nice little early birthday gift for myself. I gave Sammie from Kelowna Now the contact information that was requested for someone to contact me about receiving my prize for winning the contest. No one ever reached out to me. I got back into contact with Sammie, and was told again that someone should be reaching out to me with my prize. I never received any emails in any inboxes, or phone calls or anything from the person who was supposed to contact me about this. I had sent Sammie a final email saying that I never received anything, and I was, and still am currently left without a response. Contests are highly promoted by Kelowna Now, so it’s extremely disappointing to finally win one after years of entering them, and then to never actually receive anything. I definitely now question if it is even worth entering in any contests again. I hope that this isn’t a regular occurrence for Kelowna Now with people that support them.

KelownaNow is a great resource for Okanagan news and the stories and people in our wonderful community. Behind the scenes, I have gotten to know the people at NowMedia, such as Nikki Csek, Rob Cupello and Andrew Nash. They are caring and professional — love them.

As someone who gave over $1500 of value to KelownaNow to support their advertising campaigns (and in turn was intended to promote my business), I was very disappointed with the effort and the result. They were heavily engaged to get secure free stuff to build their promotion material, however I received very little business benefit. Virtually no new website traffic, social media engagement, or customs reach outs. It was basically waste and when I asked about it, I got told that this is how advertising works - like I shouldn’t expect to see any benefit. Huh? Anyway, I would not recommend participating in their giveaways and promotions.

As an event planner, I would highly recommend KelownaNow for advertising! They provide amazing event coverage and are excellent at helping create a buzz in the community. Unlike other media outlets in Kelowna, they completely get" what it takes to market and event and get people in the community interested. I can definitely say that advertising with KelownaNow has lead to higher attendance."
