I celebrated my birthday at Old Country Inn 5 years ago and enjoyed the experience, it is a nice place for Austrian food. I like the Sacher Torte.The food portion was small though... great service and nice atmosphere.

Their schnitzel is a standout dish, and their apple strudel is the perfect way to end the meal. And of course, you can't go wrong with a pint of their European beer on tap.Be prepared for the restaurant to be busy, especially on weekends and during the summer months. It's definitely worth making a reservation ahead of time if you can, but if you have to wait for a table, take a stroll around the charming neighborhood of Unionville. Overall, this is a great choice for a satisfying European meal in a welcoming atmosphere.

You need to make a reservation if you plan on coming here over the weekend. Very important.I had the Jagr Schnitzel as well as a something" magic desert that was fruit like that you find in canned fruit

Spent the day with some friends in Unionville, Ontario. There just happened to be a festival going on so the main street was packed and very lively. Stopped in at the Old Country Inn for some cold beer to get out of the sun. The waitress was very nice and the place was busy. Would recommend as the food looked really good and the beer was cold. Worth stopping in to a nice local haunt.

Loved the ambiance. The restaurant has been operating over 50 years and the food is authentic German cuisine. The Parmesan Schnitzel was cooked to perfection. The roast pork was also very tender, tasty and delicious. Try the plum schnapps.

I’m not the first one to say… cannot believe I missed this spot … hidden gem!Wasn’t too happy with the lady who served us at first (wasn’t very nice) but she got better after I told her we are here for my friends birthday.Loved everything we ordered especially their escargot! Will be back soon!

Cannot believe I missed this spot. Aside from food, the decor makes you feel like you are in a German restaurant. The waitress are extremely friendly and very proud of the food served with great knowledge.I read about Schnitzel and it does not disappoint. I ordered the restaurant signature item and the crust is thin but very crispy. The meat is juicy and tender and work very well with then mushroom sauce on top. Lovely side potatoes and broccoli.My friend had the ham and beef consommé and he says the trip is well worth it
