The Lighthouse Supported Living

Toxic organization. Zero transparency. Unclear how they continue to keep their charitable status. They don’t have an annual report posted since 2019, how are they still allowed to operate as a charity?!

1- appreciate that they provided decent group accommodations, including meals, for the homeless2a- don't appreciate a staffer laughing that my bag may have been stolen and indirectly hinting that there was no nred to look further for it; b- then noticing that two of its small pockets were unzipped (after I pointed out where to possibly find the bag and him doing so); c- and after arriving with my luggage at my destination (not going anywhere in between nor checking out my baggage), noticing that my new underarm deodorant was missing/stolen from one of those pockets3- then their office person who answered the phone mocking me that it was an insignificant stolen item for me to be concerned about...when a homeless person doesn't have money and the free deodorants being offered are super tiny and of low quality, then it is a super significant item.... if not for the generally good service by staff otherwise, not including what fellow homeless are like, I'd have given this a 0 out of 5 if possible, so I instead gave them a 2.

Staff are RUDE!!!!!! THEY SHOULDNT BE TELLING US TO GET THE F OUT" WHEN ITS COLD OUTSIDD.... PLUS THEY SHOULD REOPEN THE SHELTER AGAIN. BECAUSE NOT EVERYBODY HAS place to go. MAYBE WALK IN OUR SHOES FOR ONE DAY AND SEE WHATS ITS LIKE TO BEON THE STREETS"

They are racist and stereotypical. Extremely rude to people, customer relations blows, and very unprofessional.

Great staff, supportive. Place is dirty, as is the block outside. Keep your wits about you if you need this service it's not a safe place.

The lighthouse is a temporary place to stay and sober up and find a stable home. God bless everyone who works there and lives there. Amen.

They need to move this facility away from the down town area!!Every time I drive by it is full of tents and and big groups of ppl sleeping on sidewalks ...Let's NOt turn our down town area into a Vancouver situation...A Better idea would be to re locate to west of the city where their is currently a government building that is sitting VACANT AND HAS BEEN FOR YEARS ..This would be a perfect place to a shelter/ rehab facility!!I am also aware of a Doctor from saskatoon that has been trying to purchase this for that purpose for years !!!I guess our government is NOT interested in helping people get the right kind of help!!

Some staff try hard with what they got and some are just plain sadistic. Breaks my heart nut I wouldn't be surprised if the place does shut down in September.

Great structure, accommodating and the staff are professional. Personal attention to circumstances with fair approaches to resolve.Success through progress.
