The receptionist is very unhelpful and unpleasant to deal with during every phone call and visit.Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and has good connection with specialists around town, but quite frankly, he is constantly on vacation.

As with all, this is indeed a very busy medical practice. However his vast medical knowledge, along with his excellent level of care with empathy, well make up for the shortfall all practices endure!

I transferred to this doctor when my family doctor retired and I married. Dr. Patel has been nothing short of a relief to have! He always answers questions and has a really great memory of our medical history. I'm also not usually waiting too long to be seen (both in the waiting room and in the private rooms). He's a very personable doctor and open to hearing you out.Prior to September 2018, the receptionsit wasn't always the best, however, there are some new staffed receptionists and have always been wonderful additions.The UW Travel clinic is another plus. When my sister couldn't get ahold of her doctor to talk travel shots, I had her call UW Travel and she was able to get answers and seen right away.Lots of pros, and not too much to complain about here. It's not perfect but it's a lot better than the other doctor I was seeing prior to transferring! I think a lot of the issues came from the receptionsit prior to 2018, so fingers crossed no more of that!

Dr Patel himself is a good doctor, trying to call or get an appointment is near impossible. It takes about 25+ calls to finally get through. He is always on vacation or out of the office and his on call Dr is out of the office most times he is on call.
