Dawn and her Staff at Milwaukee Paws Pet Care have been informative, caring and safe with our young dog. They consistently communciate with me and inform me of any issues. Our guy especially loved his days at puppy play group, this gave him a safe and fun outlet where he met some doggie bffs that he continues to have adventures with to this day. I have been using their service for daily walks for my dog for over a year. I also sent my dog on their urban adventure hikes, as well as had Dawn for some training sessions. I really can't say enough about Dawn and all of her staff. Every person has been professional and great with my dog. He loves them all. Always well cared for and comes back happy. Definitely a top notch agency. I would not use or recommend anyone else.

Milwaukee Paws Pet Care has been taking my Aussie on Urban Adventures for over a year and I can't say enough good things about them! All of their walkers are kind and compassionate and I've never worried about leaving my dog with them. My Aussie can be reactive to other dogs and the walkers have done a great job following the exercises I have worked on with him so he doesn't react when he sees other dogs. Highly recommend!

We first decided to enroll our puppy, Helen, in Milwaukee Paws Pet Care Puppy Play Group to keep our puppy well socialized during the pandemic. Given that I have seen interactions at dog parks that concern me and that our puppy was a bit sensitive by temperament, I did not feel comfortable taking her to dog parks as I did not want to risk her having a negative experience that would cause her to be fearful of other dogs. Dawn and her team came to our house and assessed our puppy and determined which play group would be the best fit for her. She was placed in a group of other puppies with similar play styles to hers so that she would not be overwhelmed. Our puppy loved her time in play group so much that, when she was too old to continue to participate, we graduated her to their Urban Adventures program (which she continues to do with some of her besties from puppy play group).Helen somehow keeps track of the days and hangs out by the door on her play day--she knows and is so excited waiting to be picked up! This is especially noticeable because the staff comes to a door on our house that is different from the door we typically use to go to and from our house--play day is the only day of the week our dog is focused on that door. When her pick up person arrives, Helen is over the moon excited, jumping up and down with a big dog smile all over her body!The staff are terrific! Throughout our experiences, I have consistently felt that they monitor the dogs behaviors closely to ensure that the dogs feel safe and are having fun. Further, when redirection/training is indicated, I know that they are only using positive methods. They are genuinely knowledgeable about dog behavior and very caring, patient, and kind! Helen excitedly awaits their arrival and returns to us so happy! Her time with them is a highlight of her week and I know that she is in good hands!

The Milwaukee Paws Pet Care team is amazing! Our Baker can be a handful... he's lovable, spirited, energetic, and can be a little sassy sometimes! We have found the perfect people to care for him. Baker LOVES his weekly Urban Adventures with Gracie... she takes him to very exciting places where he can roam and sniff, just like beagles need to. The team has also stayed with him during the day when we have been out of town. From playing enrichment games with him to teaching us about caring for a pet with anxiety, the Milwaukee Paws team has helped us in many ways! Baker loves them and they love him as much as we do. Milwaukee Paws is the best! Highly recommend for dog training, dog walking, play group, and other services! Dawn and her team are professional, experienced, and kind. I first started working with Dawn when my puppy was 8 weeks old. Dawn is an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced trainer who uses evidence based approaches such as positive reinforcement. It is amazing to see how quickly my dog learns during sessions with her and how far he has come since we started. Plus, after each training session, Dawn provides a helpful recap to guide training and reinforcement. She has a ton of helpful resources and recommendations. The dog walking team is also wonderful. They send a recap after every walk, which includes pictures that brighten my day to see my pup enjoying his walk on the days I can’t be home with him. The team goes above and beyond in the most considerate ways - they refill water bowls, give the cat a scratch, and even bring in packages from the front porch. My dog absolutely loves his time with the team, and I feel confident leaving my best friend in their outstanding care!

I can't say enough good things about Milwaukee Paws.When I first reached out to them, Dawn spent about 45 minutes on the phone with me listening and advising, and followed up with e-mail resources, all at no charge.Sylvie helped me to deal with my puppy's out of control nipping, but most importantly, helped me to get her engaged with me again. The difference after Sylvie worked with us was night and day. My puppy was totally changed, and so was I, because I understood her better.The puppy play group has been so instrumental in giving my girl an outlet for all that energy and helped her to learn bite inhibition.These folks understand and love dogs, and I am so thankful that I found them!

I found out about Milwaukee Paws via an Instagram post, and decided to reach out about their puppy playtime, as I have a puppy who was a rescue, and due to his circumstances missed out on some developmental socialization when he was really young. Dawn as so responsive and answered all my questions. I took my puppy to their playtime at the Canine Enrichment Center in Grafton, and on the first visit he was very shy and unsure. I really appreciated how Dawn and Heidi let him go at his own pace, just sniffing the other dogs through the little gate on his first day, letting him get comfortable. The second time I brought him there, he was a little anxious when I left, so they came out to my car and asked me to stick around. I was glad to! With me being there he was more confident, and they then brought two different dogs over by him to play with him 1:1 so he wouldn’t feel overwhelmed. It was so very nice for my puppy and for me that they went slowly and had his best interests in mind. He had so much fun!I had a negative experience in the past at a dog park with my previous dog, so I really didn’t want to do that , but wanted him to have social / play time with other dogs, so Milwaukee Paws puppy playtime has been perfect! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We used Milwaukee Paws Pet Care to help include our dog, Kora, in our wedding day and Dawn went above and beyond helping us with the logistics of getting Kora to and from. Dawn helps us with training as well and occasional walks/potty breaks and has always been phenomenal! Milwaukee Paws is awesome for any of their services you are interested in and I definitely recommend them. They truly care about your dog and your dog will love them too!
