Amazing facility and great resource for the Crossroads community. Courts, fields, community garden and space to be a kid.

Crossroads is an incredible community with a strong volunteering culture. There are several schools, a grocery store, a top notch preschool, a community garden, many playgrounds, close proximity to downtown and thoroughfares and transit and the airport. There is a mix of housing options and many are affordable. In addition, there are perhaps the most outdoor skating rinks of any community in Calgary, all maintained by dedicated volunteers. To top it off, Deerfoot park has tennis courts, baseball diamonds and a huge tobogganing hill.

I was only here for a meet the candidates event. My review is based on the little time I spent there. Seems to be kept clean and a nice place to hold any gatherings.

Went to their Winter Fest so it was all outdoors. We came an hour before it was over and they'd run out if hot chocolate and there were only 2 sleigh rides left so we were lucky to get one. Definitely be back earlier next year as it was really nice, but if you're going till a certain time, have all the features till the end as there were some families that turned up in the last hour and it was all done.

A terrific hall which can host a veritable number of events. Nice size stage (solid) can hold minimum 30+ people.
