Nice place for a family dinner, but stick to classics: fish and chips and steak were both good (though $2 for a tiny side of coleslaw?), but pizza (undercooked, layer of raw dough in middle) and shrimp tacos were mistakes. Service was generally attentive if a little heavy on the upsell and marred by lack of space between tables, forcing a lot of reaching over. Desserts were very good!

Came here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and staff was very friendly. Will definitely be going back again to try out different items. If your in the area, it’s worth going to but you may want to do reservations first for it can get pretty busy.

Great little bistro. We’ve been here twice and were impressed both times. They have a great menu. We ordered the chicken club with soup and mussels. The sandwich was tasty with a generous portion of grilled chicken breast. The mussels were tasty and the shoe string potatoes were amazing. Great service. They also have outdoor seating in the summer.

Sat at the bar, even tho the bartender was very busy she took amazing care of me and my requests. Topped up my water without asking. Recommended the best food Ive had in a long time! Miara was the best server Ive had in ages and she is worth the review. She even recognized some other guests next to me and made them feel welcomed back. Give her a raise. Food was 10/10

We went for our second visit to celebrate my birthday and enjoyed the meal. We started with shrimp skewers to share very tasty. I had the new York steak and my wife had the seafood tagliatelle both were delicious. The wait staff are great and friendly. Very few restaurants give you much in vegetables with my steak 4 vegetables carrots asparagus potatoes broccoli. To bad more restaurants don't provide you with a good selection and portion of vegetables.

Tasty, fresh food, including local oysters! Friendly, knowledgable servers and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Not sure we would have got a seat on a Friday evening without a reservation...it seems like a popular place.

We went to Avenue for family dinner. It was tasty but not a ton of vegetarian options. I got the forager pizza which was decent, but I recommend getting something with fries because I kept stealing them from my friend! Overall decent food but a bit pricey. Still solid. My friend’s grandparents come here as a staple.

The dark chocolate mousse gives you a foodgasm. Must have at every visit. The steak is amazing and a strong recommendation. Great place in Comox for dinner. Compliments to the chef and service staff.
