In previous visits to the Camrose store, we received excellent customer service. But this past Tuesday (Sep 4) I brought my grandmother to the store so she could buy some clothing. We were completely ignored by the staff. Not even a hello, never mind asking if they could help us find anything. When I asked if it would be possible for my grandmother to use their washroom, the girl working said no, but that my grandma (age 95, using a walker) could go try the coffee shop across the street to use the washroom there.... I can't believe that they would ask (an obviously frail) 95 year old lady to haul butt across the street to use the washroom. It's not like she was someone who just walked in off the street to ask to use the washroom, she had selected several items of clothing that she wanted to buy. We put the clothes back on the rack and left the store. If that's the way you treat elderly customers, you don't deserve their business.

The store manager there is rude, not friendly at all, and honestly, it doesn't surprise me that the business can't hold onto its employees :)

I had gone in to the store feel out the environment before handing my resume in, as I had spoken to the HQ recruitment employ; who was very kind during our correspondence.She had told me to go in and hand in a resume, I wanted to know what the feel was before being put on the spot.I have native heritage which makes my complexion a bit more Olive toned and the manager who called herself Chantelle or Chanel was racist to me as soon as I walked in the door.As I do have modeling experience and have a Hollywood runway show thing up coming spring i wanted to gain experience within being closer to the fashion industry.Unfortunately this store manager is racist and I won't be going into the store with my fiance like I had planned to get a few high end outfit.They are a smaller franchise hoping to go Canada wide, although they are not very welcoming to Canadians who want to evaluate the work environment.The job has been listed 29 days.It appears the bad management pushes out any potential employee if not meeting the exact STATUS quo - not professional quo.
