Flakiest pastry ever! Made with butter and you can taste it. Had the buttertart, lemon meringue tart and blueberry hand pie and everything is delicious just the right amount of filling and did I say butter?! Very delicious! Plus sourdough bread!

Heads up, this location is closed for the season! I was bummed to learn this the hard way today -- made a special trip to the Dorset location to discover they've closed up shop. Current hours reflected here apply only to summer, I guess. Also, I tried to call the only number listed ahead of time to verify they were open, but I was able to reach only a personal voicemail box with no mention that the Dorset location is now closed for the season. Prairie Boy, a couple of easy fixes that might help prevent future disappointment for others? Thx!

Omg run here. Seriously. This is the cutest store in all of Muskoka and it is filled with everything delicious and mostly Ontario delights. Like their very popular bakery on College West, Toronto, PBB Dorset bakes the most perfect loaves, sweet treats and savoury delights daily.I also adore the fact that I can grab great products from the Cheese Boutique and also killer Jams, oils, vinegars and much more.Thanks guys. We were at a cottage at the end of August not too far away from Dorset and went into town for some groceries. We stopped by this bakery, because who can pass by a bakery?? We purchased a potato rosemary sour dough loaf that was unbelievable. It was still slightly warm when we got it home and couldn't even wait for lunch to eat it ALL! We also got a peach pie with a sumac crumble for dessert that night. Again.. absolutely delicious! This little gem is a most stop if you are in the area.
