The Barn Cafe
Great food, but service seemed to be lacking. Came here from out of town with a group of about 10 people. We all ordered a drink and lunch. Our server immediately seemed almost annoyed with us while taking our drink orders, but was friendly enough. Drinks did take a while to come out. I had the Cranberry Margherita, and while it was ok, the salted rim was so overpowering, I had to wipe a section clean to drink it. Lunch was served a bit faster thankfully, and everything looked and tasted great. Unfortunately, this is where the service really dropped off. No one came back to check on how or food was, and then the waitress immediately brought out our bills out once we were almost done eating. We were never asked if we wanted anything else, which is disappointing because I wanted to order something from their dessert menu, but it felt like we had somehow overstayed our welcome. When our bills were brought out, there was no communication from the waitress to see who was with who, and we then had to sort out the mess with the bills. Overall, I enjoyed the food a lot, but felt somewhat unwanted and rushed while there.

Ordered just an Americano which was quite expensive. The taste was good, not too harsh but not sure if it was worth the price. It is noticeable that a lot of work went into curating the atmosphere to make it cozy but it borders on being harsh and unwelcoming because of how dark the space is. As it was one of the few shops open in the area, it served its purpose as a good place to eat, but I would not choose again unless I was willing to splurge for a small meal.Espresso are just pods not fresh

Our B&B recommended The Barn for dinner. 5 Star! The service and food were exceptional. It was wonderful having a farm to table meal with some fresh vegetables and a delightfully fresh cod. This is the best meal we’ve had in a long time. Hats off to the chef! The owners are warm and friendly. A must stop if you are looking for something more than fish and chips.

Beautiful atmopshere. I got one of the daily specials, which was blackened salmon with roasted potatoes and root veggies, and it was absolutely delicious. Lots to choose from for dessert as well and the lemon curd cake I settled on was so good! Highly recommend this place.

I went there to try their latte. Good latte but I wish they have a bigger size for take out like other Cafe.I appreciated to visit the little farm.

We ordered the Cobb salad, salmon eggs Benedict, and a grilled cheese from the kids menu (for our 1 year old). The food arrived after 30-ish minutes, and was absolutely DELICIOUS. Both the eggs Benedict and salmon was absolutely fresh and tasted delicious; the fingerling potatoes that came with it were also delicious. The Cobb salad was fresh and crunchy, and perfectly seasoned (not too little, and not too much). Even the grilled cheese was delicious; the ciabatta bun was fresh and softly and seemed to have been freshly made. We then ordered the chocolate lava cake and a coffee, both of which were also delicious. Everything was delicious!

Lovely place to have your breakfast and coffee break! Interior is cool and exceptional. Bekary and coffe were 10/10.
