I had a sign made for my business in 2019, bright turquoise. By 2022 I noticed the sign had turned grey in patches.I contacted the company, explained the problem and sent pictures of the existing sign as well as the previous 6 year old sign they had made that still looked brand new.They explained that it was due to sun exposure , and exceeded to 2 year warranty which is not stated on the web sight, original quote or invoice.I questioned the explanation of an outdoor sign turning grey from turquoise.The solution was for me to pay $500 plus HST for materials only, and have it installed by November, which I agreed to.By December I sent a reminder email, and they offer me $300 for materials, and wash their hands of their commitment to replace the sign, adding that they don’t know why it discoloured.
