Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saskatoon East - University, an IHG Hotel

We have stayed at IHGs for many, many years when traveling and the lovely pillows and cinnamon buns!! bring us back again and again, but I cannot say enough about the quality staff at check in here. My daughter and I were tired and hungry and definitely not at our best, and the young woman dealing with us was the epitome of grace and class during a payment glitch. I wish I knew her name so I could send her flowers or wine or chocolate or a cheque for her first trauma therapy session!!Thank you, Holiday Inn Express!!

This was a great new hotel to be at. Very close to the hockey area which we were in Saskatoon for.Room was great. I like the initiative to have larger bottles for shampoo, condition, body wash etc instead of the small travel bottles. Much less waste! Great hotel no complaints

I had to take one of my pups to Saskatoon for treatment, and this hotel was recommended by the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. I'm not sure how hotels are rated, but I would definitely rate my stay as 5 stars. It was very clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was very nice. The manager, Veronica, was great and offered any assistance during this difficult time. One of the shining stars, though, was Rhona. Her kindness during one of the worst days was a godsend; she truly is an angel. I can see why the college sends their patients here.

Not a good start to my stay here. I couldn’t access the WiFi so I called down to the Front Desk. I was on hold for 15 minutes. I finally went down and asked them in person. They have an access code instead of using last name and room number (it was on my check-in card with the key and I didn’t recognize it until later but still doesn’t excuse the extreme hold to contact the front desk). The elevators are some of the slowest I’ve ever experienced. Even arriving on the first floor, the door takes excessively long to open. Hopefully the stay gets better from here. The room is clean, fortunately.ETA: We met one of the managers, Barry, today at breakfast. We had such a pleasant conversation with him and he listened to my concerns. He certainly made the stay much better.Our room wasn’t cleaned at all during our stay so keep that in mind.
