Always helpful here although I raced over at 6:30 just b4 closing... To discover on line hours are different then posted on the door

Do not come here to groom your dog. Called me 30 mins after saying she could not groom him because he was being difficult. He was partially groomed when I picked him up and did not want to try at all to even him out. She even opened the door of the grooming room without waiting for me to come in and get him. He escaped and was running around the store trying to get out. Stressed me out...not a good experience.

There are several pet stores closer to me but I always go out of my way to the location here at Sandalwood and Kennedy because the staff are always so friendly and helpful.The manager, Kaila, is extremely knowledgeable and always eager to help. You will not find better service or more knowledgeable staff anywhere.Great job guys!!

Took my dog Buddy who I admit was matted but they wanted me to take him home half groomed and he looked horrible. I stayed while he was being groomed as he was really nervous. I would never go again. If they couldn’t groom him they should have told me in the first place and I would have been fine but to half groom him and tell me to take him to a vet that’s ridiculous

For the past 5 years, I have always and will always come back to this pet store. No one beats this place.The staff is always so cheerful. They love my pets! Every time I have brought in my two dogs they treat them with so much love and care. I feel so welcomed there.The manager Kaila is always a big help! She answers all questions I have without hesitation. And if she doesn’t know the answer she won’t rest until she finds it for me! Same with the other staff as well, they’re all above and beyond workers! So you can say the service here is immaculate. I recommend this place to all my friends and family. Especially new pet owners.Thank you Pet Valu staff!!!For taking the best care of my fur babies and for working in this scary COVID-19 pandemic.Not all hero’s wear capes!

One of the staff members were very rude. The website and store sign said it closed at 9pm. At 8pm I picked up my dog from his grooming appointment and she would not let me buy any products in the time being and said I could only pay for the grooming even though my dog was not ready yet. She called me 15 mins in advance to pick up my dog and argued over the fact that I was 5 minutes late. After I showed her the time on the store sign and website she then ripped off the sign, then shortly the website was updated.

We are new dog owners and recently adopted a rescue and couldn’t be happier. With being newbies to the dog owner world, we have lots of questions on what products are best for our dog. Kasondra on a few occasions and especially yesterday in light of working around restrictions to shopping due to Covid-19 continues to go above and beyond to support her customers! Her knowledge, patience and ability to manage customers in person, store phone ringing and making special orders while making each customer feel valued makes this our go-to store! Thank you for being awesome!!!!

The groomer that was in charge of my dog was very rude. The girl at the front was nice. I dropped him off and got a call 30 minutes later saying they could not groom him". We have had him for 7 years and have NEVER had any issues with groomers before. When we picked him up
