Totally recommend this business! Our experience with the Glenwood Funeral Home and Cemetery was excellent! They walked us through all the steps with care and attention to detail and carried through on every front with skill and professionalism. Our father's funeral came together beautifully thanks to their guidance and care. Dealing with Chantelle, Tabatha, Delaney and Edith was a real treat! They are truly wonderful to work with. Highly recommend them!

Had a sales guy contact me offering a free estate planning kit. Came by to drop it off" and got hammered about incredibly overpriced and complicated financial products for investing in an expensive funeral package for 3 hours. I basically had to physically push the guy out the door after he was insulted that I "wasted his time" not buying his over priced products. I never got the estate planning kit because he didn't have it with him. They say they need to drop if off at a later date just because they want to steal more of your time. This review is for their sales team only. I have been getting calls from them for years after this incident. Don't give them your contact info!"

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and compassion I was shown when making interment preparations for my dad in September. My funeral director, Bonnie prepared the documents and had all the necessary arrangements done efficiently and promptly so we could have a small service before the weather turned cold.

When my wife’s only son passed away this past May, we struggled with the reality and decisions we had to make. After consulting with Duff and the team there at Glenwood, we decided a peaceful, park setting would be a beautiful resting place. Glenwood cemetery is a beautifully kept garden, where we felt confident that we could visit and chat for years to come (for eternity). The team at Glenwood were compassionate and very patient with every conversation, every painful decision. We commend the crew at Glenwood for their professional conduct, and their beautiful resting place. I would highly recommend Glenwood to families who wish to visit their loved one, 7 days a week, on their tranquil property. To be able to contemplate now on our subsequent revisits by walking the trails, has been soothing.

Hands down the nicest kept cemetery in all AlbertaThe staff is not only extremely qualified but so nice. I couldn't have asked for a better crew to handle my loved ones. I appreciated working with the Glenwood team. Everything was facilitated so smoothly, yet sensitively, so that I was able to relax much more than I had anticipated.The atmosphere at Glenwood was one of caring, of kindness, peace and understanding.I was met at the front door when I arrived each time, and I felt that I was in good hands.

First of all, a beautiful, peaceful setting. Staff very helpful and make the whole process as easy as possible. We had arranged a short burial service because of COVID and invited only a few people. It was a rainy day, so the staff thoughtfully suggested doing the bulk of the service in the chapel. I had to identify my dad before burial and was so happy at how good he looked! My sister and I were prepared to stand in as pallbearers if necessary but a couple of the staff stepped in without being asked. Can’t thank them enough for all that was done under sad circumstances.

Nichole Allen was very helpful and understanding when it came to preplanning our final wishes for when we pass. She helped us plan our memorial and cremations so that our daughters and granddaughters will not have to worry about what to do. Thank you Nichole for all your help

I have always had a good experience here. Both my parents are buried here and I will be too when the time comes. The staff is understanding and friendly and they made my visits stress -free. I feel very confidant that their knowledge ensures you get the compassion you need and best advice for your individual circumstances. I know I’ll be in good hands.

Edith, Neal and their teams were absolutely wonderful to work with and made everything so much easier for our family during this difficult time. They truly went above and beyond to make sure the funeral, burial, and everything was clear and easy for us to manage. We could not have done this without them. We feel so lucky to have found such a professional and compassionate group to work with. Highly recommended.
