Working with Matthew has been one of the most special and unique experiences of my life. As we worked through what my wedding tuxedo would look like we covered materials, textures, style, colour. He walked through what my wife and I liked and took us to an outstanding final result, teaching us about the fun little details of menswear along the way. The process was fun, informative and exciting (especially on the day of the final reveal of everything together). If you want anything tailored (jacket, pants, shoes, etc.), or want to wear something new that fills you with confidence I could not recommend Matthew enough. He has ruined off the rack for me and will for you as well XP.

LEGENDARY! Meeting Mathew to design my wedding attire was the most amazing experience ever! His level of detail, sense of style, and quality is one of a kind. From the tuxedo jackets, to the pants, to dress shirts, the shoes, bowties etc were all done to a custom level you just need to see to believe. My husband wore a Davignon original on our wedding day, and he was the most handsome and the most confident I've ever seen him.My father wore a designer suit that fit him perfectly 16 years ago, but then, age and weight happened, and suddenly the suit was no good anymore.... until Matthew got his hands on it, and clearly worked some sartorial wizard magic, because my father walked me down the aisle in an old suit that looked fresh and modern and new again, while also making him look 10lbs lighter!I can unequivocally say that not only is Matthew Davignon a menswear genius, he is also one of the nicest, most charming people that my family has ever done business with!Can't recommend him enough, seriously.

This was my first time getting a suit that was created from scratch. Before that, I was getting my suits off the rack, but since I am physically active, I’ve always had trouble finding a proper pair that was comfortable. Tired of looking through stores, I decided to contact Matthew to inquire about custom made suits. I was unfamiliar with the experience since I’ve never bought or had one before, but Matthew guided me from start to finish and stayed in touch through the lengthy process of tailored suit making. Matthew is meticulous in his craft - spotting the smallest details and informing me about it as well when measured. I even learned a bit about suits from my time here. I am happy and satisfied with the suit Matthew made, and for sure I will be going there in the future whenever I need another suit, or something else. The suit is nice to the touch, quality of material is beautiful and most of all – it’s comfortable. I would totally recommend Matthew!

Hands down the best pieces of clothing I have ever worn. The attention to detail is out of this world. Every single detail is thoughtful and serves a purpose. Matthew's love and passion for his craft was evident from our very first meeting. The whole process from defining the look to picking fabrics was easy, educational and never overwhelming. He has this ability of tapping into apart of myself I didn't even know existed. This has truly been one of the best things I've ever done and I am so thankful for this experience. And let me not forget his customer service skills are next level. A true custom experience.

Had a fantastic experience with Matthew! He knows what questions to ask you and what aspects to enlighten you about - the depth of knowledge in his head is incalculable!What I would say is this - you get only as much out as you put into the process. Knowing what you like and don’t like will make things faster and easier. I especially appreciated the discussions like “Do I want 3,4 or 5 cuff buttons? Tell me why I would want 5 cuff buttons.”Matthew’s got the experience to answer your questions and guide you towards a look that will highlight the strengths and create balance. The finer details like “your torso is a bit shorter than the legs, so the jacket will be an inch longer to balance everything out” and “your foot is long, so we’ll make the pant leg opening a bit wider to balance the size of the leg and the foot”. Matthew has the attention to detail to take all these aspects into account - you will get so much more out of your experience at DAVIGNON than you could have ever planned for!

Amazing tailor, created an excellent white dinner jacket and textured patterned suit pants for my wedding! also offered some really great hand made bow ties and cummerbunds. would 100% recommend!
