Owner is too much of a salesman, doesn't respect customers because all questions asked are turned into a sales possibility. There are much better shops in Montreal to get new comics.

Great selection of comics, action figures and more...I never leave empty handed. Friendly staff and owner is very knowledgeable and will help find missing issues.

I read another guy's review saying this was the best place, so we checked it out. The guy was right. The selection and organization here is crazy good. The owner pulls out complete runs and sells them as a bundle. Has international issues and a wide array of toys and other collectibles. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Fantastic shop!

Wow!!! This place is huge.I've been to comic marts at home that are smaller than Comic Hunter. Easy to locate from Sauve Metro station and Google maps. Don't worry if it looks like a large office building from the outside ... just follow the signs downstairs.Massive dollar and two dollar area when you first walk in that is worth spending time to have a root through.Newer comics and graphic novel selection and a well stacked back issue collection. Helpful and friendly staff checked their inventory for some elusive back issues. I spent a couple of hours here and will visit again when I'm next in Montreal.

Love this place! Went there today while I was in town for business after a local recommended it. Very impressed. Massive back issue collection where I was able to find several hard to find issues I was missing. Huge collection of reasonably priced complete sets which is an excellent idea and not something you see often in shops. Also just generally great atmosphere. Wish I could've spent a couple hours there.

Absolutely massive store with a huge selection and a great dollar binsection. Every time I walk in with something in mind, I walk out with a bunch of extras!! The books are also very well sorted, and the staff is super helpful!

If I could leave 6 stars I would!I would call myself a FREQUENT visitor of this place despite an hour long travel to it (its simply so worth it i promise) I’ll go on my days off to just sit for 2 hours and browse the dollar bins (yes, you can spend that much time on those alone, and they are constantly putting in new boxes)If you are looking for already organized issues or runs I recommend looking at their inventory first because there is a LOT of boxes to go through. It is well kept, well organized and constantly being updated. Don’t even get me started in how fantastic the prices are, very very fair!Not only is this place huge for its location, but the selection they have is practically endless. They also have an awesome selection of collectible items, and figurines.Their customer service is also fantastic, very kind workers who make sure you find exactly what you’re looking for, and they offer tons of extra services. A really cool part is that you can make a sort of account with them which will let you submit forums requesting specific issues, and once they receive them they wills et them aside for you.I could go on and on about this place, but if you're a comic collector in the montreal or laval area THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!
