This was an exquisite bar, and fit right in with the vibe of the beautiful hotel. All of the drinks were made to perfection. The martini was crisp and glassy, and the French 75 was probably the best one we’d ever tried. The signature drinks are impressive too, and if you sit at the bar you can watch the bartenders craft with a variety of techniques.The whole ambience of this place is fantastic, we came twice during our visit to QC

A surprisingly short cocktail list that is trying a bit too hard to be edgy. Obviously, A+ for atmosphere, but only a B on drinks. The pate en crute was very good, though the toasts it was served with were inedibly hard.

We stayed at the Chateau Frontenac last week, and had a nightcap every evening in this beautiful bar, with such history.Every bartender was friendly and attentive. There is a drink menu, but they will make you any drink you can think of. They have cheese boards, or charcuterie boards, and other light fare. There is also unlimited popcorn and potato chips put on the bar while sipping your drinks.It was mesmerizing to watch the bartenders make drinks with the utmost precision. And meeting Laurie, a new bartender, was a plus. She’s a great addition to the team they have. She made the best B & B my husband has ever had.

Wow. We had the most amazing experience with Corine. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and when we told her we were looking for gin based drinks, she was ready to surprise. Every drink she made us was a new experience. We loved her company so much, we will be returning for lunch!!

My family visited the bar and the drinks were amazing. We got an amaretto sour, a French martini, and maitai, and one of their specialty cocktails called Cask Mates. Our waiter was Pierre-Olivier and he was wonderful!

We went to the 1608 Bar while staying at Fairmont Chateau Frontenac in March, 2022. We have stayed at other Fairmont Hotels across Canada and have tried out the various bars at the hotels.1608 Bar is rich in history, has a unique and cool ambience to it.The drink menu wasn't incredibly large and most of the drinks were on the higher side. It's too bad you couldn't really order food here (light snacks)Usually the bars at these hotels offer comp. snacks ie. popcorn etc. and I don't recall being offered any of this.It was still nice to check out and enjoy a drink here.Our server was pleasant, took the time to go over the various drinks with us, and made suggestions on what we should try.

Pretty cool place located inside the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. The place is beautiful and the bartenders were pretty friendly. Worth a stop for a drink or two.

One of the best bars I’ve been to. The cocktails are on par with some of the best bars in the world.Book early & try getting a spot close to the windows, overlooking the river.The drinks are strong & the cheese boards are all made from local ingredients from around the area.

This unique bar is famous in Quebec. Reservations recommended. The service and the experience of the bar created a mood of luxury ambiance. The quality and selection of fine spirits and wines was well worth the trip.
