FAST TIME WATCH & JEWELLERY REPAIR

Had a battery replaced about two months ago and it’s already dead - took it back to have it replaced and they said it’s a different watch I took in for the battery so they will not honour the warranty- it’s the ONLY watch I’ve ever taken to them - they will not honour the one year warranty- I’ll go elsewhere for my watch needs.Response edit: I didn’t have my receipt they looked me up by phone number and saw that I was in just over two months ago (dec27) but they must have recorded it wrong because it’s the only watch I’ve taken there recently was this Lorus that I included a photo of in this review. I mean it’s only 13 bucks and I was going to cave and pay for a new battery until she said why would you pay for it if it’s the one you just brought in? So now in my mind she’s just called me out as a liar over 13 dollars - I don’t think so.

Very positive experience - I took my boyfriends watch to get repaired and Sandra had it done in less than two minutes she was very nice and informative and I will absolutely return in the future.

Sandra helped me get my watch battery replaced and I also picked up a snazzy new watch band. Service was great and it was done really quick. Definitely recommend them for any watch service.

I would like to comment on my recent dealings with Sandra, the store manager at the White Oaks store.She handled a very difficult situation with integrity and professionalism.I wanted to get a new battery for my pocket watch which was over 30 years old and had never been outside a display case.Though qualified to change the battery, she felt that it would be better to have the experts at the main office change the battery.As I watched, she followed store policy and took pictures of the watch and since there was no damage to the watch, she did not list any damages.After a few weeks the main office notified her that there was a crack in the wooden rim of the watch.She contacted me with the news. She stood by her assessment that there wasn’t any crack that we didn’t notice. She got a picture from the main office and sent it to me to inspect. Again, we agreed that that crack was not there when we sent it to the main office. The picture was very grainy and seemed to be a different colour. I thought for a while that there might have been a mix up at the main office.This back and forth with the main office went on for two months.Finally, I just asked for my watch back.It took two and a half weeks to get it back from the main office. It was indeed my watch.Upon getting it back she offered to glue the crack herself for free. Since I had complete trust in her I accepted her offer.The only explanation I can come up with is that it developed the crack on the way to the head office due to the cold temperature in the truck that transported the watch.I cannot say I am happy with the eventual outcome; I am very happy in the way I was dealt with by Sandra.Rod Forcier

When I first came here to buy my kids a chain, the service was great. However, within the first week, the gold tarnished and both chains broke. They also turned my kids skin green. I returned them the following week for an exchange and the same thing happened again. Despite their guarantee that it wouldn't happen again (breakage and skin discolouration) it happened twice. I refuse to ever purchase anything from here again. 200.00 wasted and now they won't help

Recently went there to get my very old vintage watch some new straps. A worker there shannon was very helpful I found the closest to the same watch band that I used to have in seconds I would definitely recommend.

2 years ago I replaced the watch battery of my watch for 14 $ at the same place. Recently I went to replace the battery for the same watch at the same place they asked for15$ on the recite, but next day they called and increased the price to 65 $ ???, I rfused .Next day I went to get the watch back. They told me it is at their center and not here, we will call you , they never called back, I called them and left a voice mail message after 10 days of waiting ,they never replied,?? Yesterday I decided to visit their site and I was surprised to find that the watch is there , I got it back spending 15 days waiting .I went to a competitor next door and spent 15 minutes to replace the battery at very low price
