We showed up without a reservation and Beth was able to help us despite an extremely busy day. Reasonable rates and Beth was an absolute treat to deal with. Highly recommend for a summer adventure along the river!

I had a flawless experience with Beth’s On the Bay. I came to Ottawa with my husband and 6 year old son from England and we were greeted with the friendliest host. The quality of the equipment was superb and the water was beautiful. She had everything we needed and helped us with every step. My son especially loved kayaking with us! We will definitely be returning to try out more equipment!

Great place. We rented a couple kayaks and paddled part of the Rideau River. They were excellent to deal with and we will do it again. Thank you Beth and staff.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! They were so kind and helpful, and we had the best time! They’re also dog friendly!!!!! We have 2 Great Danes, not only did they happily welcome us, they also allowed them on their board! (The crusader) what a wonderful little spot, I’d reccomend it to anyone and everyone!

What a lovely local business! Fair price, perfect location, easy to access from street. We were welcome by an amazing employee who helped us putting the kayak on the river and provided us with some suggestions for our 2 hrs trip. Will do it again for sure.

Beth’s on the Bay was amazing! We were a large group, about 15 of us total and all had a blast! There was enough kayaks, paddle boards for everyone. Check in was very easy and efficient as well.Thank you for a great time!:)

Great service from Beth and staff...prices are very good for a 2 hr ride This part of the river Mahogany Bay is very calm and easy to paddle, even for a nice swim from the public dock
