INCREDIBLE STAFF. I had both sides of my nose and my navel pierced by Jesse. They were all extremely kind and reassuring, they all took the time to make sure that my piercings were well done and to explain to me how to take care of them afterwards. Jesse explained the whole process to me and made sure that I was ready and comfortable. They answered every single question I had with honesty and patience. Love this place

i got my ears pierced here! completely clean and professional. the artists are super nice as well! they were really helpful and they reply to emails really quickly too. i got small bumps on my piercings and visited again and also visited for a jewelry change, really glad i chose this place! they make a few offers as well, you can see them on their instagram page. place is super cute too

Got an industrial and belly button piercing done here - one happy story and one crooked piercing.Industrial was great, couldn’t have asked for anything better. The piercer helped me feel relaxed and comfortable during the whole process. It hurt (as expected) but it was quick. Healed with no issues.My belly button however, was a much worse experience. First, the piercer couldn’t find the original jewelry I had chosen, I guess he agreed to pierce me with it before checking that it was in stock. I had already lied down on the chair, getting ready for the piercing, so this slightly killed the vibe. No big deal though. He then spent a few minutes drawing the pen mark on my stomach, and told me to stand up. He told me to lie back down quickly so I thought he would be adjusting the mark, but he simply said he would let me know when he would be piercing, so I just went with it.I suppose it’s partially my fault for not asking him to look at the mark he had made… but I was shocked to see the piercing was completely lopsided later that evening. It wasn’t because of asymmetrical swelling - the puncture was literally diagonal.I went in again the next day to see what they could do about this, and they immediately took it out for me and although I couldn’t get a refund, they said they would repierce it for free in a month after this one heals. I feel like they should have offered some sort of refund - maybe not in full, but maybe in form of a gift card or extra jewelry - for putting me though this inconvenience… But I’m grateful for the otherwise kind employees & owner for their quick actions.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I got my helix and 2nd lobes on both ears. The prices are reasonable too, considering they are situated in downtown. They do walk-ins for piercings!

They helped me get out some earings that were stuck and guided me in purchasing some new ones. Piercer was very patient, kind and explained everything that she was doing.

Today I had my very first cartilage piercing- Tragus Piercing. Phil was so professional and thorough. Took the time to answer all of my many questions and was very clear with aftercare instructions. My daughter was with me and had her bellybutton pierced. We were both really pleased and had a great experience. Thanks again Phil and Slick Styled Steel!We will be back! :)

Excellent place for piercings, possibly the best! I'd suddenly had a very bad irritation issue with an old labret piercing from another parlour years ago. I'd gone to a piercing shop in town that gave me tips but that worsened my situation. I went to buy a new piercing at Slick Styled Steel and the piercer guy addressed it and took the time to talk about it, and gave me very good advice. He was patient, kind, and knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. I have since then healed and am very satisfied with their products and services. I highly recommend!

Went earlier today to get my conch pierced and get a third lobe piercing on my left ear as a walk in. Staff was incredible and friendly. They made time to squeeze my friend and I in their busy schedule. Lots of jewelry options I chose 14k gold for both of my piercings, really cute designs. My piercer Myles was really reassuring and took her time to explain the procedure in detail to me and made sure I was comfortable! My friend and I were really satisfied with our results. SHE EVEN GAVE US LOLLIPOPS. 10/10 experience would definitely recommend this place. Thank You so much ❤️❤️

I have gotten 7 piercings and 3 tattoos here over the past year and I have never had a bad experience. I feel welcomed every time I go and I absolutely love it. ps, if you want to get a piercing, Charles is one of the best. I have had all great experiences but he just takes it to another level.

(Short version at the bottom)I went for my first lip piercing in November. It was free as it was done by an apprentice, and the piercing itself was very well done, with a professional present at all times and both workers were sure to keep me in the loop during the whole process. I plan to get a second one done there.I went with a friend and she was hoping to get a certain piercing done on her ear. After discussing it with one of the workers, she was informed that her ear was not shaped properly for such a piercing and was recommended a few other solutions. I loved that, because they're clearly not doing it for the money, they really are working to give people proper, healthy, piercings.The whole place is clean, and those getting tattoos and piercings are put in separate areas to those waiting for their turn, ensuring privacy for everyone involved.I recently went back for a consultation as I plan to get my first tattoo there and the artist I spoke to immediately recommended another apprentice to me. Seeing her work, I've decided to get it done by her. I find it wonderful that they offer opportunities for up and coming tattooist and piercers to practice and become better.If I was to describe this place in a simple way, I would say that it's a clean, professional shop, full of mentors and very kind individuals. I plan to go back for as many future tattoos and piercings as I can afford.
