my 8 year old daughter loves these classes, we went for a free class just to try and she felt good. I think that she is a more friendly now and she is stopping being shy because she feels safe

Our instructor is great at engaging students! For younger students, it looks like playing; the dodging, running and jumping in play is building stamina and practicing the moves in Capoeira. Students learn through storytelling and activities in a very welcoming space and a family in it's own. The annual belt ceremony wraps up the year in June and starts up again in September, great for families to break and explore other activities and/or trips throughout summer.

Capoeira is life changing. I didn’t think it would impact my way of being but this martial art is unlike any other! Music, dance, and Brazilian culture. Please don’t just take my word for it! Try it for yourself.

Capoeira is a Brazilian type of martial art. Made of half dance and half combat. Excellent for children and if your looking to learn something new. I highly recommend this location

I love Canadian Center For Capoeira! The teachers are outstanding and always make their students feel welcomed. I always look forward to the end of the year recitals to see all of the student’s hard work and the shows are always great!! Keep up the good work!

Great place to learn Capoeira! Vadim is very patient and encouraging with small children. He knows how to make it fun, and he’s very good with kids! The classes helps with strength, balance, flexibility, stamina, and rhythm. I love that there are some components of music and culture as well. It’s a great choice of physical activity for children. I highly recommend it!

Our 6 year old started Capoeira lessons with Vadim and TCC4C a couple months ago and LOVES it. As a parent I’ve never seen him have so much fun and come home so tired after his sessions. I strongly recommend trying this for any and all!
