Slow, always long wait times and staff don’t communicate proper information. They have better things to do than process tests, especially on a Saturday!

Great experience. Came in on a Friday and it seems they replaced the receptionist that most reviews are complaining about. The staff were polite and professional.

I made the extra drive as the Markham Lifelabs was ridiculous. I arrived here without an appointment. 2 people were ahead of me but my wait was less than 15 minutes. The staff were polite and efficient. The office was very clean and organized.

The worst and slowest service you can experience here. It’s the age of electronic papers and the woman is so slow with her computer and claims to be extremely busy and the email is “slow”. Doesn’t know how to search for the email I sent her.

First time here and will be my last time. There are only 5 people before me, but the wait time starts from 30 mins and slowly increasing to 60 mins.. and not to mention the attitude of the staff here. I used to go to the one at north york. Totally different experience.

I was a little hesitant when I booked my appointment with this lab because of the low reviews here. Yesterday I finally went in thinking I had an appointment, but turned out I remembered it wrong. My appointment was actually for the next day, but after some conversation when I was about to leave, a lady came out and asked what's going on, and then she looked a round and decided to take me in because not too many patients waiting in the early morning.My blood work and breath test were done very efficiently, they didn't make me wait any extra time. The ladies there are quite nice and friendly. I am thankful for them not making me have to go back on the second day.

So far so good, at least not one star as other reviewers complained. I just walked-in today, around 11:45AM. I think this may be the best time to visit. It could be more busy in the early morning 'cause everyone trying to do their blood test earlier without eating anything overnight. And another peak hour may be lunch time. I saw more people in line after 12PM. Anyway, I waited and have my test done within half hour, which is acceptable and expected as walked-in. The reception is polite and organized. There is a screen showing who is in line and the estimated wait time, it looks clear. Waiting area is not that big though, so if the line is longer than 10 you may need to wait outside. There is only one lady doing blood work, kind of slow but she is competent and professional.

Unfortunately, the level of communication of the lifelabs admin is very poor. When they say there is a walk- in, they don't specify that customer has to arrive really early or there is an expectation that they might not be admitted. When this communication is not clearly mentioned to the customer, when they arrive and they are told Sorry we can't take you in . No more walk in"

I had an appointment at 12.50 on Wednesday oct 12. The website booked me in. I needed to get a fasting OGTT done. I get to the location and they refuse to take me in because apparently they are closed on every second Wednesday of the month. The lab technician had the audacity to tell me to come in next day when she knows I am pregnant and I had also taken half day off work for this. She kept on arguing and asking if I told “them” (as in the website) if it was for OGTT. SERIOUSLY!??? I went in person and they refuse to book appointment, and online they have no way to book slots according to the time it should take for the test. There was no mention of their timing when I booked the appointment online and neither does google reflect this. I called customer service because I was so upset and the guy who answered kept on arguing instead of apologizing. They need to get their act together and deal with their patients with more courtesy. I dont even want to give that 1-star, but unfortunately I cant even post without selecting that star! Seriously fix up your mess!

Nothing worse than someone’s knocking on the washroom door when you’re trying to pee in a cup for your lab test. The front desk admin did knock on the door and demanded that I come out right that second simply because I was in employee washroom by mistake. And when I came out she was extremely rude and accused me of going in there knowingly that I shouldn’t, even though I apologized for not seeing the sign because the door was wide open.First time here and will be my last.They really need to change the front door admin.
