Just got back after waiting an HOUR for an online order. Was told at the counter it would be 5-10 minutes for me to get it. I waited 45 minutes before I had to raise my voice and ask if my order was coming from Toronto. 2 minutes later it came out. By the time I got home, it was ice cold and it was obvious they threw it all together after I raised my voice. I did ask to speak to a manager and the cashier just walked away without telling me to wait. Honestly, this is the worst service I have ever recieved in any restaurant or takeout ever and I am a manager for a local food service place. I could see people in the kitchen chatting about their day, but were not working. The real icing on the cake was watching an employee touch their nose, not wash their hands and then put gloves on. I will never step foot in another Swiss Chalet or Harvey's ever again.Edit: I have made the complaint to Swiss Chalet and have demanded the full refund to my credit card. If you value your time and your health, go to another place because this place is so horribly managed and the staff don't care about service. They only want your money.

Took way too long after being seated for a server to come get our drink orders. Loaded baked potato had almost raw bacon little cheese and absolutely no chives.

One of the few restaurants that has never disappointed. Garlic cheese loaf is back! Order the garlic cheese loaf and you will experience the best garlic bread ever!I don't know how this location is consistently good, but it always is.Food is tasty, fresh, and hot. The beer and wine is well priced too.What more can you ask for?

Pertaining to Swiss Chalet, this has been my favourite dining restaurant since childhood. Overall, the food remains delicious and affordable.With regards to servers, I have evidently crossed paths with numerous at varying locations. However, Josee is the best server in the world! Succinctly, Josee provides outstanding customer service with her immediate friendly disposition, smile, consistently remains calm, actively listens, and ensures client satisfaction with her kindness!In conclusion, Swiss Chalet will always receive five stars for food, service, and atmosphere from my perspective AKA personal experience.

Always consistent, good chicken, quick service and reasonable price.Edit for most recent visit,We were seated quickly but then waited a long time for our server to take our order, then waited and waited for our food to be brought to us. When it arrived the fries were cold not even warm, the wings on both meals were charred black, the sauce came in takeout containers and one of the meals didn't have butter for the bun. Normally these concerns could be mentioned to the server after the first few bites but he was missing in action. At no point during our meal did he return to ask how things were (they weren't good). When we were clearly done our meal and were just waiting another server ended up removing our plates from the table. Eventually our original server returned with the bill. Not impressed with this visit at all. The things we like about Swiss Chalet is that they have decent food and you can get in and out fairly quickly.....we got neither this time!

THIS IS NOT TYPICAL OF THIS LOCATION. Took over an hour to get our food in a mostly-empty restaurant. Other people came in, ate, and left while we were still waiting for our order to be brought out. Manager gave us a discount, staff were lovely. Food was really good. Just some kind of disconnect with the communication somewhere. They're still definitely worth going in.

If you find my review helpful, please give me a thumbs up.Food delivery through Swiss Chalet app.The food was delivered 10 min prior to the advertised delivery so that was pleasant. The driver was polite and efficient.The family meal with 6 quarter legs with 2 fries and 2 steamed veggies.The veggies were well prepared (from frozen) but firm and tasty. This was the best of the food. It is a large portion of veggies.The fries were good but not very crispy by the time they arrived. The portion was acceptable but not impressive.The chicken legs were on the small side and the skin was pretty dry, like they had been out to long. Definitely not similar to the ones you get in-store. The meat near the bone was moist.The bread buns (2 of which were missing) were harder then stones. My bread addicted children weren't able to power through the tough outer layer of crust. They were composted unfortunately.The large container of sauce was great for sharing.Overall, I will probably not order for delivery again. Either go in store or go somewhere else.Ordering through the website proved to be very complicated and I gave up and downloaded the app.The app was pretty easy to use.

The worst. My wife & I place bets on the odds this store will mess up our order. So far out of the last 20 orders, they have only managed to get 5 correct. They always forget a side which is ridiculous as all the meals come with a side of your choice. I will now post a review each time they get our order wrong.

I visit once a week and am always welcomed by happy, friendly and energetic staff making my experience one of great pleasure. A particular thanks to Faith and Lorraine who excel in their professionalism whilst delivering smiles throughout their service. Thank you for always making my weekly experience above and beyond satisfactory.
