Saint Lawrence Spirits Château
The drinks are very good, the distillery aspect is great, but that is now the main focus per the staff. The restaurant is not what is shown online. Their menu is very limited. We visited for the first time for my sisters birthday and we were very disappointed to see that all the menus that show online are no longer available and ended up going somewhere new for dinner. Check the Facebook for the updated menu if you are interested in going and interested in food!

Saint Lawrence Spirits Château
Called prior to going for Mother’s Day and was told that they were not accepting reservations and that it was first come first serve and they started at 10am. We arrive 10 minutes after 10 am. My daughter and I walked in after a large group. The guy at the stand completely ignored us as he proceeded to take said large group up stairs. A few minutes go by and my husband came in from parking the car and asked how long the wait was. As I was telling him that we were completely ignored upon entry the guy walks back down stairs, goes behind the host stand, and continues to walk into the bar area again, WITHOUT acknowledging us. He walks back up and said “Is it just the 3 of you” we said yes and he POINTED to a table in the bar area and said “That table to the left is ready”. So we sit, look over the menu, and sit some more. 3 more people were seated in the bar area and at least 3 tables were seated outside AFTER us. We SAT there for 30 MINUTES without ANYONE acknowledging us. The 3 people that sat in the bar area orders were taken and drinks were brought to them. Same for the tables outside, and they all arrived AFTER us. Although….We were brought silverware. No HELLO, no offer of water, not one waitress acknowledged us even though they are walking past our table numerous times checking on everyone around us. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

AMAZING VIEW. Stopping here just for the view is worth it. Staff is very friendly and entertaining. The spirits are very refreshing Amazing back patio. I didn’t dine here

It was our first brunch experience and was a little disappointing. We weren’t wowed for sure Seated ourselves on the outdoor patio. Waitress was frantic and in a rush, actually told her to calm down and that “we’re not in a rush”. Table wasn’t covered and sort of clean. Waffle on the ground under the table.Breakfast meals were good but no nice high end presentation, no garnish to wow us. The butter on the waffle was overly boozey, waffles delicious but no spoon provided for the yogurt which was runny. The Ranchero looked and tasked great. Mimosas were good but no wow factor except for the view.

If you haven’t been back recently, the establishment has restructured ownership and cooking staff as well as the entire direction to focus on the distillery portion of the business, completely gutting the restaurant, so returning customers be warned that the fine dining experience that defined the Chateau is completely gone. The food and service is not even a ghost of its former self in current form; the barebones menu can best be defined as mediocre pub food at its absolute zenith.This used to be one of our favorite places to eat in the area, probably our favorite fine dining and brunch experience in NNY. It is a tragedy for the community to have lost what was easily the pinnacle of a fantastic dining and service experience in the north country. We will not be returning as long as the place maintains it’s current trajectory, and I have no doubt many feel the same way. Best of luck to the management, but this new direction is not for us.

Had our wedding reception here last year and everything was exceptional. Food was amazing, and the staff was incredible. We had so many compliments from our guests on the food.

Amazing staff, location, food, and drinks. Went early for brunch and the staff was great in providing a great tasting experience at the bar. Overall, had a great time here and would absolutely go again.

I was pretty disappointed, I was expecting fine dining but was greeted with a menu with little options and overpriced bar food. I had not realized they have done away with fine dining. I knew something wasn’t right when only 3 cars were in the parking lot. The food was not that great. The waiter was friendly but seemed to be the only one working. Overall not the greatest experience and I won’t be back. It’s a beautiful place but doing away with the fine dining was a huge mistake & after reading the other reviews I can see why many others were also disappointed.

My husband and I have come to the chateau because we have always enjoyed the five star food, dining experience, and the general atmosphere of the chateau.We visited on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, and unfortunately found that things have changed in the overall food and dining experience.The food is no longer five star due to change in chefs in the kitchen and now is more like bar food or a little better. We did have a delicious salad and the chips and cheese dip were excellent as the dip was not too spicy for me, which I appreciated very much.My husband got the corned beef and cabbage special and about the only thing he liked on the plate was the mashed potatoes.Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive and addressed our concerns about the meal. She went above and beyond and there are no complaints there. We also do enjoy the alcohol that the chateau makes at their distillery. Our biggest wish is that they would go back to fresher foods and fine dining.

A truly unique and lovely dining experience. This place is a must if you come and visit the 1000 Islands and like higher end, farm to table meals.A distillery, restaurant and a few rooms available for rent are located on a gorgeous property. The restaurant is beautiful, the view is to die for and the food and drinks are some of the best NYS has to offer. Everything was perfect and the bartender took good care of us and made wonderful suggestions. The food was well seasoned and had interesting flavor combinations. We will absolutely be back next time we go to the 1000 islands.
