Shorncliffe Coin Car Wash

Not very good, the Tri-soap sprayer barely dispensed any soap, took so long to cover the car. Spray pressure was good but did not notice the blower did not work at all after putting the money in the machine. Wasted $$$ in this visit...

Great little self serve car wash, just be aware that only two bays, 3 & 4, have a dryer. Unfortunately, when I went the dryer in bay 4 wasn’t working and the one in bay 3 had a big hole in the handle so all the air was blowing out through the hole. Also, the 0" button on the vending machine doesn't work so I couldn't buy a microfiber towel (it was item 10). Otherwise it would have been a 5 star review."

I put in 5 dollars to get coins for the wash, and the machine has not given the coins back. They have a number here to contact if equipment fails but no one picks up. Waste of time and money.Update: owner called me back and refunded me the money, so I have updated rating to 3 stars. I appreciate that!I would be willing to change to 5 stars if the owner can actually fix the machine. I am worried that other people have been scammed for their money, and never got it back if they didn't think to leave a google review. Fixing the machine would show the owner is interested in conducting business with integrity.

$2 for 2 mins of use. You can use the dial knob to select between different modes. It was inexpensive as compared to automatic car washes, but my experience was bad. The soap foam started after 15 seconds and wouldn't turn off when I switched to rinse, so when the timer ended, I still had soap on my car. Had to insert another loonie to 1 minute of use. Worst part - no dryer. My car was dripping water when I was done and it was -15 outside so the water just froze. ALWAYS bring a towel to wipe.Other than the cost, I wouldn't recommend this place....more of a summer car wash I'd say.

It's an okay car wash. There is no timer or alarm for your time to end so that's not good. The air blower wasn't working.......After the car wash guy responded, my review changed as now it's called a good customer service and I appreciate considering the reimbursement although 4-5$ doesn't matter what matters is the good customer care.

This place is falling apart. Machines dont work half the time. The last time I was there, my station broke down with soap all over my car.No one answered the number, the machine ate my tokens after breaking. So I had to walk across the street to OK TIRE and ask for cash back just to rinse my car. The funny thing was that they guys at OK Tire said it happens like every week.Had to wait 15 mins for the next station because only 1/2 of them work. and spend extra $.Better places all over this city.

Decent and affordable self serve facility but it wasn’t clear how much time is given by $2.00 for each service .My $1.50 got stuck because it wasn’t accepting coins less than $0.25 by that was my error since this instruction was posted but I didn’t read it .

The Bay I was using wasn’t accepting Toonies. Unfortunately that was most of my change. I called the number above the machine, and explained what was happening. The gentleman was there within 10 minutes. I told him my situation, and he tried to fix the machine. It was a problem with some Toonies, so he gave my change back that I lost, and proceeded to put his money in the machine. I was floored. I couldn’t believe it. That’s Customer Service, and I highly recommend this establishment. I must also mention that I’m not from Toronto, and I just wanted a clean vehicle before I hit the road.Thank You for making my day

Machine ate my money. Most features did not work. Wax, rinse, wash were the only functional features. Coin return slot is broken so getting aggressive with it is necessary to get your money back. Pipe above bay 3 leaks all over you and window is missing between 3 / 2 which results in you spraying the other person's car. Overall great pressure and a quality clean.5 stars if those problems are fixed.
