Ambassador Duty Free Store Windsor

Absolutely awful, the website and google page was very misleading and said nothing about you having to be in a car to access it, the signs outside made me think i had to enter a specific way if i didnt have a car, the photos made me think that the place was a regular store or mall or plaza which it wasn't, i nearly got arrested and I was terrified that I was going to be killed for entering the wrong place, was detained for a bit but released, the police were nice and the only good thing about the placeAlso the person i called to complain to afterwards was rude and dismissive to meAvoid this place

Best prices on alot of things especially alcohol.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff member (don't remember his name) helped me pick out some Canadian whiskey and ice wine. Prices and selection are good. Got a free shot glass with my purchase!

This one has a wide range of liquors compared to the one on the other side. Only downside is there is no fuelling options for people travelling by Car to US (well there is one for Trucks I.e. diesel). Whereas while returning from US there is a gas station next to duty free and it’s cheaper.

Buy smokes here...PM brand two different prices..one spec...cheaper and org $6 more..and I know why..the original always sells out...shame on you

Travel a lot and most of the time I find the best deals for Hennessy at duty free locations.This location didn’t have any good deals on Hennessy. It’s almost the same price as regular retail. I was looking for Hennessy Privilege. There was none in stock. Looking at the prices, I wouldn’t have purchased it anyways. Don’t blame it on inflation when I’ve purchased 1Liter at other duty free for $75 in April 2023.

Let me tell you about my visit to the Ambassador Bridge Duty Free Store - it was like stumbling upon a treasure trove of goodies! I was on my way back to the States, and I had heard that the store had some great deals, so I decided to check it out.First of all, the staff was super friendly and helpful. They were like my own personal shopping assistants, pointing me in the direction of all the best deals and even helping me pick out some gifts for my friends and family.And oh boy, the selection was out of this world! I mean, who knew there were so many different types of booze and candy? I felt like a kid in a candy store, except with way more booze. And the prices were unbeatable - I practically filled up my car with all the goodies I found.But the real highlight of my visit was the hilarious cashier. They had me laughing so hard, I almost forgot I was buying things. They were cracking jokes left and right and even made a few puns about my purchases. Who knew buying alcohol could be so entertaining?Overall, I had a blast at the Ambassador Bridge Duty Free Store. It was like a little slice of shopping heaven, with friendly staff and unbeatable prices. I can't wait to go back and see what other treasures I can find.

A must visit while crossing the border through the Ambassador bridge. A wide range of liquors, liqueurs, wines, beers, perfumes, confectioneries and souvenirs. They got some great collections and sales going on throughout the year. This 24x7 open store is a great place to fuel up your trucks on your way and exchange your currency.
