Truly why you shop at a butcher shop, for their expertise! Can’t find a harder working staff that is as consistent, knowledgeable, and friendly! Having shopped at each of their locations over the years, their selection and quality ceases to amaze me. The manager here is so wonderful, incredibly patient and helpful! Buratta for our caprese salads with the best ground beef for homemade burgers are a go to from here. Thank you for your service, and maintaining such high standards in working tirelessly through tough times. Highly recommend!

My husband was really excited about visiting this little shop in our neighbourhood, however, in spite of a great selection of items, the service could stand to be improved dramatically. Purchased different salamis, olive oil, and cheese. No complaints about the products themselves, just wish the gentleman working behind the counter was friendlier -maybe he was just having a bad day, but it didn't seem like he wanted to serve my husband. Not sure that we will go back.

Regular customer of Heringers since moving to Steveston in 2014. Have always had good things to say until now. Bought 2 marinated pork shoulders marinated in Dijon with herbs. Smelled delicious but meat came out tough and little flavour considering all of the marinade that was on the meat. Was also assured that this was a tender piece and came very tough. Many other things we buy here that are always good but this was not one of them

Best value, high quality meats. Lots of great kabob choices, steaks, chicken, and sausages. Most marinade meats are made from in-house fresh marinade. Lots of local sources. Also be sure to check out the selection of frozen dishes like the Shepards pot pie and lasagna. Greek lamb kabobs and pesto chicken kabobs are my go to!

The friendly and very knowledgeable staff, are there to help, with excellent service. We love that Windsor Meats is a big supporter of local brands!
