Upper Wood's Home Trail - Jeal Nature Path
As someone mentioned two years ago, apparently the same bridge construction is still there so we were not able to keep walking. Until the bridge it wasn’t long enough to enjoy the hiking. My little girl enjoyed jumping on the tree trunks. We saw a couple tiny squirrels, lots of birds humming, and a red-tailed hawk crying and flew by. I will definitely come back when the construction is over.

Upper Wood's Home Trail - Jeal Nature Path
A nice trail that can take you from west Bowness through to Valley Ridge. Huge old growth Douglas Fir along the way. Park on the street outside of the Wood's Home campus at 48th Ave and 33rd. Walk uphill through the entire campus past the last buildings / shop and you'll see a large boulder at the trail head. There'd be coyotes.

Little wooded pathway that makes you feel like you are in the mountains. Currently the end by Stoney trail is cut off due to the new bridge going in. You can get down the the regular path of Bowness but it's a steep walk down.

We saw a pack of Gray Wolves there tonight huntingan animal and had a scary close encounter. Bizarre for being so close to the city. Use caution- great trail with forest similar to BC. Until today I’d had only ever seen birds and rabbits there.
