Not impressed with Britney. She’s cancelled on me so many times. This summer I emailed the store and she said she was cutting hair out of her house so to come see her there instead. Still canceled on me last minute lol I can’t speak on the rest of the staff but she’s really unprofessional and unreliableEdit: I see your reply, but tbh texting me an hour before the appt (I drive an hour) that your son opened the door in the middle of the night (??) and you’ve been awake anxious blah blah is unprofessional. Nothing to do with covid, and not an excuse to put on mothers. As a mother I’m still able to conduct myself professionally and that’s not it.

I just had the most wonderful experience with Katrina. She took the time to listen, and she put thought and care into my cut and colour. And the head massage was amazing! This is how hair should be done. Will definitely be back.

Brennen Demelo is hands down the best salon in Barrie. They have incredibly talented stylists- particularly Kayla Ward, incredible customer service and a beautiful atmosphere. Every time I go to Brennen Demelo I feel welcomed and pampered. They had my wedding party the day of my wedding and did an amazing job on my five bridesmaids and myself. I have been coming to Brennen Demelo for years. I am extremely picky with my hair and who touches it. I went years and years doing nothing to my hair because I figured that was better than someone messing it up. I think we’ve all had those situations. The staff at Brennen Demelo are professional and knowledgeable. Every time I leave the studio I feel like a goddess. I get compliments on my hair quite often and I’d love to take credit for it but it’s actually the skills (I like to call it magic) of the professionals at Brennen Demelo. Treat yourself!

Nice little salon, very open so there isn't congestion or feeling like you are sitting on top of another client. It's right downtown so if there isn't parking close by, you'll be walking a bit. I've been lucky so far. Let's be honest though- I just go for Katrina :)

Brennen Demelo Studio Barrie is seriously amazing! Super chill atmosphere and the staff is always super friendly, will go the extra mile for you, and you're treated like family! No one else is on top of trends and techniques like these ladies! I never feel better than when I walk out of their doors! If I could give more than 5 stars I would !!!

I LOVE both Melissa and Jen R and have followed them from one studio to another... oh and not to mention I live in the Ottawa valley and specifially therefore plan my Barrie visits around when I need my hair done!!! I have tried many other stylists (for the sake of convenience) and every time go back to Melissa... she is simply the best! xxxooo

Just checked out this salon for the first time after reading great reviews and seeing their work on Instagram! I had the privilege of having Melissa cut my hair and she was great and did exactly what I wanted! She also took the time to explain to me how she was cutting and then how to style it myself. I will definitley be back :)

Finally found a salon that knows what they are doing. Absolutely love this place and how welcoming everyone is. Michelle is my hairstylist and i have never been happier. I have really curly thick hair so it is hard for me to find someone who knows how to cut my hair. Well she is the one! Very upfront about pricing and always makes sure I am happy when I leave. Definitely recommend this place to everyone and anyone!
