Danier

I have never been a super-fan of leather. It is not because I eat expensive steak but won't wear it, I just never really liked the FEEL of it on me. That said, over the years I have owned a few leather jackets, went through a somewhat embarrassing cowboy boot phase, and continue to carry a leather wallet despite being able to pay for everything with my watch. When I was young, my parents almost always went to Danier for their leather products. So when my current wife alluded to wanting a womens motorcycle jacket I hopped on the computer and went to the Danier website. Within minutes I had found, what I believed to be, the exact jacket she would want and I bought it. It came quickly and looked fantastic, until of course she decided she wanted a size larger and a different colour. The instructions for returning something ordered online is to pay the shipping to send it back to their warehouse store, they would process the exchange and send it back. Well I work close by so I took it in fully expecting to be told I had to send it in to return it. The young lady working at the counter, I wish I could remember her name, was amazingly kind, helpful, patient, and although I had to buy the jacket again from her while I wait for the refund to go to the credit card (which isn't a big deal), I was in and out of there within 10 minutes WITH the jacket my wife wanted. Great product, EXCELLENT customer service!

I have been a long time shopper at Danier and was sad when many of the locations closed. I finally made my way to the Keele Street location and was pleased to find the usual selection of great leather jackets and apparel. I was also pleasantly surprised that they had a very good selection of larger sizes. Best of all Mimi was invaluable in assisting me in finding a winter jacket that was both warm AND fashionable! I'm very thankful for the time she took to help me find items suitable for my shape. Will definitely return!

These coats/jackets have really gone down hill. Just bought 4 pieces, 3 on clearance. Certainly not my first purchase so I am very familiar with how the sizes should" work. One coat is a gift so I cant speak to that. Out of the 3 clearance coats only one is actually true to size. The other two are mis-shapen and come no where close to fitting as other similar pieces I've purchased in the past have. We will see if they provide any assistance."

I decided to treat myself this Christmas by owning a leather coat. Danier came in mind since its a Canadian company. I called the store for information and WOW, a lady by the name Mimi answered the phone. She was super nice, went above and beyond to answer my questions. She asked for my name and we said goodbye on the phone. I then realized I forgot to ask her for the store hours, when I called back, she picked up the phone and she recognized my voice and remembered my name when I said hello to her, and that made my day. When I went to the store, I met a lady behind the cash register, she recognized my voice and called me by name when I said hello. Mimi is amazing, she knows her stuff, helped me pick the size that fits me. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and wonderful. I recommend everyone to check the store up, and ask for Mimi, you won't be disappointed. I am so glad I was able to meet her and she helped the perfect leather coat.

I recently was shopping at the Danier Keele location and had a great experience. Mimi, the sales associate, was incredibly kind, and knowledgeable about the available styles and collections. She made my visit extremely successful and I appreciate her commitment to making sure I was comfortable with my purchases. I will definitely be going back there to shop again!

My husband and I couldn’t be happier. Mimi is very patient and she really knows what the best fit for you. She’s really amazing! I wish I had met her before. I told her if I could l would take her home just because she’s a very nice person and she knows what’s the best for you. I definitely will come back to the warehouse and I’ll look for her again.

I had a great experience at the Keele store today. The sales girl (it says Susie on my receipt) went above & beyond to help me find a jacket. She was super attentive & provided excellent customer service. I am in love with my new leather. Thanks for making my day!

I have been a long time customer of Danier, having likely spent several thousands of dollars there over the years. Never was I so disappointed as I was today, when I visited the Keele Street location. I have been to this very store a few times previously, and have always found their staff to be great. Today, however, started out fine... I tried on a very pretty dress that was advertised on sale for 29.99 (on a handwritten tag). The salesperson (who turned out to be the assistant manager) helped me to choose the proper size, warning me that the design of the dress warranted a belt. It turns out that she was right. It was an easy decision to purchase this dress. I was a bit surprised that it was $45.19 after tax. Upon looking at my receipt once outside the store, I noticed that I had been charged $39.99, $10.00 more than the advertised price. I returned to the store to have the girls correct the error. The very girl who helped me choose the dress worked with her coworker to determine that she had made an error and priced the dresses incorrectly. They provided me with a refund, and then spent several minutes trying to give me the dress at the lower price. When they couldn't figure out how to do it, they then called another store, only to learn that they did not have the authorization to override prices. Interesting... because I was talking to the assistant manager. The salesperson did apologize, but then told me that I should still take the dress because it was so nice. She had the audacity to say that it's only $10" . Finally

No option for a stars would be best! The worst customer service I have ever received. Now I understand why they went Bankrupt. I drove from Bradford to Concord to do a return, to be told you have to start a return online first! And then was told I have to pay to send my return back! So ridiculous! No one answer my emails and you get the runaround from anyone who works in store.
