Delicious food! Loved the atmosphere and had loved having a chat with the owner. Also the dishes are all super well priced! I got the miso sauce katsudon which is only available for May. Would definitely come visit again!

I've been here 3 times and each time has been great. The service and the food are consistently good.It is the kind of restaurant where you can comfortably ask questions to the chef and waiters and even just chat with them if it's not too busy. You feel welcomed when you eat here :)Till next time!

I'm traveling in Montreal and found this place by accident but it was definitely a happy accident because the katsudon completely fixed my craving for a good rice bowl. I'll have to go back to try other food items on the menu where everything looks delicious!The service was fantastic. My server was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the food they were serving. I got to chat with the chef/one of the owners and I could sense his passion for food.This restaurant is small but offers amazing Japanese food. It's fairly new but I think it's going to be around for a long time! Thanks again for the warm service and delicious food. 100% recommend!

Service with Alex was incredibly warm, he makes great house special drinks. Don’t forget to ask him about his mocktails too. I got the juicy pork and my friend the fried chicken dishes for mains - both excellent. Takoyaki and fried chicken starters fantastic and the flan dessert was a nice cap to our meal. The anime playing and decor give a cozy vibe. If you ask for their hot sauces, they’ll happily make you try to their deadliest sauces/oils.

Incredible food and such nice staff! We came back 2x in less than 12 hours (lol) during a short trip in Mtl because we enjoyed the food soooo much. Staff treats you like friends and it feels so homey. Great job at building this amazing place! Will definitely come back in the future.

Small and cozy place. The food was very good, portion was a little bit smaller than I expected but the flavor was still good. Service was nice, very friendly.

Great food in an intimate setting. My favourites are the unadon (eel), karaage and takoyaki. The sauces are awesome! Staff and owners are friendly. Great restaurant all around.

The eel dish is so delicious I've kept thinking about it! I usually never order rice bowls but this place is great. The chef owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. Late night schedule is also a boon with all the bars around.

Cute, little resto, ate at the bar and we chatted with the co-owners! Tried the takoyaki, miso katsu-don and the regular katsu-don, with some mocktails carefully prepared by the server! Everything was delicious and well prepared!

I came across this gem while walking on the streets dealing with a hangry girlfriend and wow did this spot ever make her feel better! The food is delicious and the staff is even better. Alex and Eric treated us like family and were very good at giving recommendations and making us laugh. Also, their hot sauces are out of this world. A must for anyone who likes Japanese food and culture. Thanks again guys! We’ll definitely be back soon.
