I lived all my life with dogs and thought I knew something about them, but I had never raised a puppy. I am so glad that we put our puppy Cassi into Paus-n-Train Agility & Obedience Inc.'s Puppy Prep School. It was worth every cent -- and more. The 10-week session seemed to me as much a train-the-trainer course in puppy psychology and fun-filled training techniques as it was canine obedience school, designed to lay the foundations for further learning by both human and puppy.Paus-n-Train supported the puppy course with highly skilled and knowledgeable staff, a one-to-one problem solving session, helpful physical resources such as dog bed, puppy pen, training treats and treat bag, and a plethora of training videos and text documents. Best of all, we have access to these resources to support us on our training journey for a full year. Now that our pup has graduated, we are also receiving weekly emails with tips and reminders and invitations to monthly webinars. So, when we run into new challenges, we can use them to help us troubleshoot. Paus-n-Train cares deeply about you and your dog.You can also attend the semi-structured Puppy Alumni Play Group on Saturdays for a minimal fee per session. We're always picking up incredibly helpful pointers during these late-afternoon social walks at Paus-n-Train.Paus-n-Train is empowering us to help our puppy grow into a polite, well mannered, confident, loving, and safe dog. We have already learned a great deal, but there is more to know, so we have enrolled Cassi in 2 more courses, Foundations of Agility and Rally Obedience. It is as much for my benefit as for our dog's.

We are enjoying the Paus-n-Train Puppy Course. The resources that we have access to are plentiful and very helpful with text and video clips! The additional course information provide great suggestions, options and help me problem solve situations that occur in my dog's life. The staff have been positive and supportive to myself and my pup! In addition, the staff have provided me with guidance to help me communicate clearly with my pup. My dog Oscar is excited to come to the puppy classes! The 1 on 1 session helped me address and approach challenges at home with success! We are looking forward to the walks with other dogs on Saturdays! What a great idea! I appreciate Gwen and Jess for helping Oscar start his process of joining the pack.

Amazing trainers and a beautiful property from everything to basic training for puppies, to agility. Great pack walks for all the students to attend and great socialization for the dogs.Bruce loves it here!

Love the way Paus-n-Train makes training so much fun. A few minutes a few times a day and you'll be amazed at how much and how quickly your dog will learn - all by playing games! Very knowledgeable instructors. Always quick to answer questions you have. Provide extra training and / or point you in the right direction if you need it. So many programs to choose from -- small in-person group classes or online courses available to suit everyone's schedule. Check them out, you won't regret it!

My Great Dane Genevieve and I attended the 10 week Puppy Prep-School as well as the 6 week Novice Rally Obedience during the winter of 2021/2022.I honestly can’t say enough great things about our experience at Paus-N-Train.My girl is far from an angel, especially now that she’s deep into the teenage stage, but the training and techniques we learned early on without a doubt set her up for success.We have a business which requires her to come into contact with numerous people and pets daily during the summer. The best complement we received more than once was “where did we send her to be trained and how long was she away for the training?” It never occurred to me that it was even an option to send a puppy away for weeks or even months to be trained - isn’t it the pet owners that actually require the training!Thanks Paus-N-Train, we’ll be back this winter for some more fun trying out Foundation To Agility!

Excellent program! The biggest thing though is that you get out what you put into it.In person training sessions and having the online resources are an awesome combination.Our pup is getting better and better.Excellent trainers! 5 stars.

Had my pup in obedience classes and the experience was all around amazing. The instructors are knowledgeable, understanding and patient with new pet parents, and extend beyond the paid classes. The resources you are provided with and have access to after graduation are invaluable and help thru all stages of at home training. Highly recommend.
