Many people visited because the weather was nice today. It was a little windy, but it was good to take a walk, and it was good to play with squirrels. It is a good place to play soccer or catch ball with children.

An important memorial dedicated to servicemen lost at sea during war, including the merchant mariners. It's a beautiful monument overlooking the entrance to Halifax harbour.

The Memorial is at the very end of Point Pleasant park, right by the shore. The memorial was erected to commemorate the men and women of WW1 and WW2; as well as other Canadian sailors from other timeframes in history. There's plenty of open area to admire.
