Great place to make your own wine or brew your beer. Owners are so nice and they know their stuff. They follow covid protocol for a safe experience while bottling. Convenient location as well.

Great to do business with Derek! He is personable, efficient, and loves what he does. His facility is spotless and set up well for sanitizing and bottling the wine and beer. He does his best to help you enjoy your beverages.

They have 100 recipes for beer - I plan to try them all.This isn't a place that sells kits - they make everything from scratch and do not use preservatives.Great beer - great cider - reasonable prices.

Great tasting beer using the hot kettle method. No syrupy kits. Derek the owner helped tweak a nice hoppy IPA recipe. Really liked the old school vibe - honest, personable and great value.

I went in hoping to get a clone of a specific discontinued beer as it was the all time favorite of a friend. Derek absolutely knocked it out of the park. My friend was beyond excited to get another taste of her favorite brew and said it was spot on. Customer service was amazing as well. Definitely will be going back.

We have purchased our beer, wine, and ciders from Island Brew Byou for years. The product is always excellent and the owners are great! Derrick knows my taste in wines and I can always trust his recommendations when I feel like trying something new. It is worth the drive from Lake Cowichan to do business with these folks!
