Dr. Mashael Mawji, ND - Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Mawji is an absolute gem! I recently was referred to her by Dr. Nigma Talib who is a world famous Naturopathic Doctor! Her referral could not have been more perfect! When I saw Dr. Mawji I was not well, and I am proud to say she took the time to diagnose me properly and asked very detailed questions and made me feel like priority! Dr. Mawji is a wonderful doctor who really does care" about her patients. Being referred by a world renowned doctor clearly in itself would be a no brainer to go see her!!! Dr. Mawji thank you for getting me back to health as quickly as you did and taking the time to understand what it was that I needed! I started seeing Dr.Mawji a year ago and I can not express the amount of gratitude I have towards her. I came to her with severe gastrointestinal issues.I had previous hospitalizations and had done all types of tests. Doctors didn’t know what was wrong and desperate to find healing I switched to see a naturopath and never would I have thought that this is where my healing journey would begin. Dr. Mawji is compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and an amazing listener. I was taken aback at how she made me feel heard. Since day one she has explained everything so that it’s easy to understand and given me options on what route to try first. She has never pushed products on me but has recommended only the best from her personal experience. Everything she has given me has not only healed my digestive health but has improved other health issues like my migraines.I never thought that I could get better with zero medication but that’s exactly what happened. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mawji, but first, she is SMART. She understands the underlying functions and processes in our bodies to a degree that is extremely impressive. And, better yet, she likes to share that knowledge with her patients so we understand the WHY of the treatment plans she suggests.I went to her following 8+ months of dealing with an issue that neither my family doctor nor a specialist could get under control. During my first visit, Dr. Mawji asked me if I'd had certain blood tests done, and my family doctor had never suggested those specific tests in the 10 years I have had her as my primary care doctor. Sure enough, Dr. Mawji's suspicions were confirmed, which led me to DNA testing which revealed a genetic mutation that makes it difficult for me to process certain forms of B vitamins. I don’t even know where to start. I have been seeing Dr Mawji for 2 years. She is amazing at what she does. She is upfront and honest. She takes the time out to really assess and explain different treatment options. She is passionate about her job being an injector and a naturopathic Doctor. I feel very comfortable with her.

I started seeing Dr. Mawji in November 2019. At the time I had significant allergy symptoms daily (i.e. runny nose, migraines, nasal congestion, frequent sneezing, etc). It was to the point where I felt miserable EVERY SINGLE DAY. When I came to Dr. Mawji, I was fed up with the lack of service I got from my family doctor and was willing to try anything. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mawji’s for the last two years ~ and she’s truly amazing!! Dr. Mawji is intelligent, gentle/ sensitive, compassionate and very caring.
