Four Corners Health Centre

Had COVID test done for my daughter on Aug 12. Called to follow up three times, still waiting for someone to call me back and share result.Would assume for a critical test like this they would be more efficient.

My daughter has been missing on school days because no one would give us her Covid test results. When we went for the test, there were 4 nurses chatting. we were the only ones to test. it's not like they're overloaded. it's been 4 days already. they have no respect for people's life or time. Wish I read the reviews before going.

The doctors are superb. However, a few rude, unqualified receptionists stand in the way of getting timely medical advice. These receptionists did not appear to me as professional, with any decency and as persons with some degree of compassion for the patients. Whenever I had to call in for an appointment (and eventually I would not get the desired time even when there would be slots available), I felt like these receptionists more often than not, like to play doctor themselves (seeking inappropriate medical details and form opinion about the seriousness of the disease). Recently, I had to call in for an online appointment with a doctor for my child, one receptionist preached (uncalled-for) that my child would have to get Covid testing done if he was to be brought in ever to Four Corners for an in-person assessment. I immediately had the testing done and then a couple of days later I approached the front desk to see if an appointment was possible. This time the receptionist who took my call told me that she would not 'allow' the kid to be inside their premises no matter if he had negative Covid test results or not. She did not even feel obliged to consult a qualified nurse or doctor before telling me that she would not 'ALLOW' the patient to be in. I thought that it might be within Wellfort policy to disregard test results issued by Ontario Health (or allow discretion to be applied by one of their receptionists) but subsequently I was assured that it was not the case. Thus due to sheer negligence and uncompassionate attitude of the receptionist, my child is still without any in-person examination and proper diagnosis. I am still stunned to figured out what kind of 'human being' could push back a parent from seeking medical advice for his little child without any lawful explanation! Additionally, I had occasions where I was informed that there were no appointments available for a certain time on a certain date while later I found out that the date was fully empty of any appointments. My experience with the front end 'service' of this facility is so horrifying that on many occasions I took my kids to other walk-in clinics even as far as Sick Kids Hospital) to avoid mistreatment, push backs and rude behavior of the front desk. As I mentioned, both the doctors, Dr. Ala and Dr. Nagra are excellent but the receptionists who are supposed to provide 'reception' service, have been tarnishing the image of Four Corners. What is shocking is that these receptionists seemingly get away with their behavior of mistreating clients especially in a medical facility. It is hard for me to accept that my family's health and mental well-being would depend on the whims and moods of one or two non-medical, inconsiderate people! I still have great faith on Wellfort which I believe has been doing a stupendous job in the community and I am not inclined to judge the organization by the behavior of a few rotten apples. Hope the management listens. Given my experience, at least a couple of these receptionists should not be allowed to face the clients at all in any medical facilities.

If you are using this place to get your covid test done, do yourself a favour and just go to Trillium or Credit Valley. This place is unreliable. I now understand why their covid test schedules is not fully booked, clearly there is a reason. I had my covid test done on Thursday and I have to keep following up with them about my covid test result to which the phone operator will say that a nurse will call me to let me know about my test results - so I was worried since I might have been positive if they feel the need to call me. They do not have a clear system in place. They can just notify me via email to let me know about my results but they have never had done that. They only called me on Tuesday about my result to which it is negative - thank god. The wait is frustrating since they could have expedite the process in the first place. People who are working here do not know what they are doing. They feel that you are obligated to call them to know your result. Don’t they know that it is their responsibility in the first place to inform you? This place is a joke!

A 5+ STAR experience dealing with the 4 corners dental clinic. Office is extremely busy however there is no compromise with the service. A BIG THANK YOU to Sandra - an exceptional experience dealing with her. My father is their patient and had to miss 2 appointments due to factors beyond our control. Sandra was majestic in assisting with a time slot given they are booked months in advance. Its a pleasant experience interactive with someone who is well spoken, courteous, respectful and make efforts to ensure the patient is at ease. The dental assistant and doctor were remarkable. Upmost patience dealing with an elderly client. Hoping not to visit the dental office for any issues but to meet a team of wonderful professionals. Cheers!!

My son get Covid test done at this location. His classmates got their result within 12-24 hours from other testing center. We have been calling them but still nobdy is reaching out to tell us the results as we cannot access my son's results. They even lied to you. This is the bad experience we had at this testing center during critical time. Very poor service . Everytime someone picks up phone and says somebody will call you for results .I cannot even go to work until I get the result for my son it the company's protocol. TPH should be aware of this location.

Was able to book a same day appointment for a Covid cold and flu assessment. Upon arrive the staff at the clinic were so kind and attended to me very quickly. I was able to get a prescription from the nurse practitioner at the clinic and they even called me a few days after to follow up on how I am doing. Very sweet staff. I Recommend this for cold and flu symptoms and to be seen in person rather then a phone appointment with a walk in or family doctor. Bonus they also take you in even without a health card

Amid the reviews written here, through both good and bad experiences, I'd like to say this community center has been renown for helping people out. As an underprivileged person- along with my family, they've seen that we were taken care of at utmost priority. I don't think we could ever repay them. Thank you and lots of love and appreciation to the staff.

This place was so accommodating when I needed to get tested for covid and no other place was taking clients. In my time of stress, four corners health centre allowed me to take a test in order to see my family. Thank you four corner’s staff!

I Got tested here awhile ago and they attended me very quick and the staff were amazing and helpful. I did not have my health card but they still accommodated me at no cost. I’m grateful for this COVID centre and was able to get my results promptly and back to work when my symptoms went away.
