I was very impressed with the selection of quality options for a nursing chair. Sharon was able to recommend a chair we liked the aesthetic of by including a glider addition option (which no other furniture retailers seemed to have an option for). We recently attended the La Z Boy store in Whitby where we were greeted by salesperson Andy. He was polite, personable, professional and knowledgeable of all La Z Boy products. He informed us that there was currently a sales promotion and discount on all of their furniture.We subsequently purchased living & dining room furniture. Andy then introduced us to Karoline a designer consultant who was able to co-ordinate our purchases and show us a 3D version of what our rooms would look like which was amazing.Karoline was also very personable, professional and knowledgeable and we appreciated her suggestions. Andy & Karoline are a true asset to La Z Boy and work very well together and we appreciated all their help. Looking forward to receiving our furniture.Bonnie & Craig Guest

Shortly after entering the store we were greeted by sales representative Sunny! She escorted us though the store to things we had seen in the flyer. Sunny then helped us pick out two chairs and a couch. Sunny took the time to show us colour swatches, answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable without judgement! What a great a experience! Thank You Sunny! You went beyond expectations!

I purchased a couch and a recliner at the same time. Was told that it would be 4-5 months before we could get it. Fair enough and we would wait only because we wanted quality. We finally get a call( 4 months later) saying that the furniture had arrived and ready for delivery. We booked the moving elevator between 1-3PM. We were told that was okay and to expect a call when the delivery guys were 30 minutes away. At 11 AM we get a call from them saying that they were 15 minutes away. I explained to him that we were booked between 1-3PM. His reply was “ well you just lost your delivery “ and hung up. I couldn’t believe the rudeness of him. Eventually through many calls with their delivery manager ( who was very helpful) we got it delivered. However the delivery driver was extremely arrogant and rude. Making comments about out condo and choice of residence. Who the hell has the right to say such things. We will NEVER go back to LazyBoy again because the quality has disappeared. Our recliner is horrible and the couch is showing signs of weakness because the permanent cushions are warped and sagging. Very disappointing to say the least

LOVE our couch! Purchased a sectional from La-Z-Boy at the end of January, was told it would be 10 weeks and the time line was right on. Couch arrived in perfect condition and fits perfectly in our space. Big thanks to Rafi and Karoline for helping us find the perfect couch, being patient while we went back and forth with measurements and styles and for helping select a custom fabric that was EXACTLY what we were looking for!

My husband and I went looking to replace our living room furniture. I was reluctant to even enter the store because in the past the sales pressure was high. This experience was different. Andy was very personable and informative and he walked us through the different options. He was very patient and did not pressure us at all even as we went back and forth on our decisions. If you want great service ask for Andy.

BUYERS BEWARE!Did you know that LazyBoy has a no refund, no return, no cancellation policy? Surprised? So were we! We bought a brown wood coffee table, the halsey collection....let's just say we will never shop at lazy boy again after the after-service and treatment we received...we are two months in and our brand new table is still useless.The nightmare began...as you can see from our uploaded pictures and video..our liftop table came half broken..the liftop mechanism does not work, the bottom of the table is falling out and the brown wood table is covered in black epoxy filler marks the size of nickels...(this is not an inexpensive table either-supposed to be top of the line wood table)Went to the Lazy boy store, the store said they cant do anything, to call customer service...called customer service (had to find the right department because the store didn't give us the right place to phone), They bumped us around for a couple of days until we found the right email address to email, a week goes by and we finally get a hold of the warranty department and they tell us they can send a service technician to fix it., it should only be two days...they call us back to book the service appointment...10 days laterWe proceed to try and cancel the rest of our order (a custom sectional couch), the store will not allow us to cancel the order because its custom, even though the couch has not been put into production yet, we were told a 5 month to 6 month delivery time frame but the order has been placed..so apparently that means its written in stone..if its already in production then the delivery timing should be weeks..not half a year (they are backlogged because of covid 19)Service person comes in, takes a look at the table...they cant fix it, the guy didn't even come with a tool box, he took pictures and sent a report, he said that we would hear back in 3 business days...the following week, they tell us they still cant take the table back or exchange it, they are going to order parts for it, the table top, lifting mechanism and the shelves...so basically replacing each part of the table seperately...at this point our confidence in the quality of these products is shot...they tell us it will be another 6-8 weeks before they will get the parts to fix the table, meanwhile we have this table taking up space in our living room.I could go on an on about specific interactions and the fact that nobody at lazy boy: sales rep, store manage, customer service, warranty department has the power to do anything to properly rectify the situation, so do yourself a favour and learn from our mistake, buy somewhere else, the quality of a lazy boy is not what it used to be...its not worth the kind of money they are asking for, and if by chance your items come damaged or don't function properly...you are basically on your own, it's not worth the risk.

CONSUMER ALERT!If you decide to purchase a sofa bed from Lazy Boy, please consider this twice. I purchased my sofa bed from the Whitby store. BIG MISTAKE!I bought the piece in October 2022, had it delivered on November 8th, 2022. Lazy Boy knowingly and deliberately sent me a moldy and ripped mattress. They don't care that this is a health hazard. When I contacted the Whitby store, I was told it's not their problem. They can't help me after the sale and I must contact Customer Care.When you try to call them, you will get a recorded message to leave our information and they will get back to you within 48 hours.As of this writing, I am still trying to get the moldy mattress replaced. Stan, the Customer Care representative is still telling me that He's doing whatever he can to resolve it".I bought the sofa bed for the simple reason that my family could come and stay with me over Christmas. Andy was very helpful, easy to talk to and takes time to explain. One can see his genuine efforts to help customers like ourselves. He had a very friendly personality that made us at ease. He also introduced us to Karoline( Caroline) - she was very nice, accommodating and it was a nice experience when she put together virtually our home space so that we can feel confident on our choice of furniture.
