I used this firm for over 30 real estate deals over the last 9 years. Trusted them with everything. Even had Jon Barnett as my POA for all my real estate dealings. What a mistake. As soon as problems came to light, this guy proved himself to be absolutely useless. I bought a rental property as a triplex. Their firm handled the deal. Then, the City of Sarnia started posing us problems. Saying it wasn't a legal triplex, but only a single family. I paid them to do a search on the place, but obviously they didn't . As a result I've got over $50,000.00 worth of fines from the City of Sarnia. The solution to the problem was to start the rezoning process. I contacted Jon to do that for me. He told me that he would start the rezoning process, but he didn't. Nice work. After a few months, I was inquiring again about how things were going. Jon, along with his partner Brad, both lied to me and said that they had started the rezoning process, but they hadn't. After the firm screwing up the initial deal, then lying about it to me for what is now a year and a half, I find myself in a huge legal battle that has cost me thousands of dollars. I've lost over $135,000.00 due to the negligence and dishonesty of QHB Law. I've had to hire another lawyer to fight for me now, to the tune of $10,000.00. I am reporting them to the Law Society, and I hope they lose their license so they never victimize anybody else through their negligence and lies again. . I'll keep you posted on new developments, until then, my best advice is to steer clear of these idiots. They can't handle a simple deal like a real estate purchase, and can't tell the truth to save their lives. They're not to be trusted.

The lawyers and reception staff are amazing! Previously went to George Sinker and they were going to charge an arm and leg and be a week to complete. Staff at Bezaire Hemeryck Barnett were only a few minutes and did not charge me, I was so happy and relieved! Highly recommend!

As a previous employee and current client of BHB Law, I cannot speak more highly of Jon, Brad and Andrea. I have seen time and time again how much they care about their client's and do everything in their power to make sure they are well taken care of.
