Kinsip House Of Fine Spirits

A beautiful gin distillery in the heart of Prince Edward County. We visited in September and booked the Kinsip Tasting experience. The distillery is located in an old characterful house with beautiful surrounding grounds. We sat on one of the picnic benches in the garden for our tasting experience. Overall, we had a great time, not to mention the crazy chickens which just add to the fun! Highly recommend :)

Nice spot to try out a few cocktails! Staff is nice and drinks are unique! Definitely recommend.

Overall a great place. Loved the different mini drinks to sample.Service was I will say decent to be nice but could have been an off day. Can't let that underscore how neat of a place it is to visit, at time of visit there was also a food truck.

We came here from Toronto and did not have a pleasant experience, customer service was very bad. Passive aggressive behaviour of the staff. We ordered two tasting menus which also includes once cocktail each, the cocktails were not served as described on the menu, missing garnishes(lemon wedge, or orange peel in old fashioned whiskey). When I tried to ask that the cocktails dont look as described and are missing garnishes, I was told- “ Oh ! He is on training, he might have poured the spirits right into the glass and served! I can add the garnish ( just a lemon wedge and an orange peel) its not much of a big deal! “That sounded so rude to me.Its not about a big deal, its about providing what you have on the menu.Even the spirits offered were 1tsp each in each of the tasting glasses.You guys need to train your people well.I loved all your spirits though.Zero customer service!

Great location under an old tree with potential chicken nuggets candidates.The cocktails were AMAZING.They ran out of bottles but if the cocktails are any indication, the bottles must be delicious.Love the location, but a little sass with service towards one in our party, which is the reason for the one star loss.

I was so pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this place right beside Big Mikes BBQ. Such a cute little spot with amazing cocktails at a reasonable price! You can take your drinks over to Big Mikes and enjoy some food which was great. I am taking one star off purely for an interaction with a staff member when I went to pay for my drinks something felt off and unfriendly. Normally I would not write this because my interactions with the other staff members were great and this place is an absolute gem- but I quickly glanced at some other reviews who had a similar customer experience perhaps with this same staff member which is unfortunate.

A little detour on our way home to meet up with some dear friends in Prince Edward County. We enjoyed a tasting flight and cocktails under the trees surrounded by lovely friendly hens. Fun quirky discovery, beautiful location and interesting spirits.

When you arrive here you will definitely be greeted by many chickens. They tend to keep to themselves. They definitely provide entertainment when your sipping spiritsDefinitely not your average spirits here. We went for a tasting here and the spirits are very botanical tasting. Personal favourite was the Pine vodka. If you like pine then you will love this vodka.I could see that this venue may not be for everyone but we enjoyed our time here

We had a very enjoyable visit. The drinks and food were very nice. but my only comment here is, it would be nice if there was a real bathroom instead of an outhouse. The state of the outhouse ruined the visit for me. There are many other restaurants and breweries and wineries in the area, many with bathrooms that are accessible for every ability, which are very clean. It doesn't seem unacceptable to have the same at Kinsip, which is a very beautiful spot.
